“i don’t know why everyone is complaining.” fran rolled her eyes as she spoke, to absolutely anybody nearby. she didn’t care if nobody was listening, she was going to express her opinion anyway. “we’re in washington dc, there’s the white house, the president is here.”

“you’d think people around here had never seen a girl save a kitten from a tree.” blossom laughed as she landed back on the ground, offering the cat off to the person who owned the cat before her eyes glanced around at the rather large audience that had surrounded her “all in a days work.” she smiled softly.

kai had been in dc for a few weeks now, not by his own choice but everytime he left he seemed to reappear, as if it were magic. “you know —” he mused as he heard someone nearby “— ive found myself in three prison worlds before. three. that’s more than your average person, so i know my fair share.” he rambled on as he leaned against a nearby building “but normally they’re made for one person, me generally. maybe a bunch of crazy heretics, but there’s got to be at least a thousand people wandering around here, and none of us can leave? who’d you kill?”

Venus had been invited out for coffee. It was the first time she’d been out in a while and she wasn’t sure exactly how to act. “And I’m not sayin’ I’m the best there is...but I’m the best there is..” Cue the end of her almost thirty minute rant on how she’s better than any Jedi there’s ever been. After sipping her coffee, she looked at the other. “So what about you? Tell me anything.”

“ — hey, hi —hello?” elle called out, picking up her pace slightly so she could catch up to the person she’d noticed walking past, holding out a pink and rather sparkly flyer to them “have you seen this dog?” she raised an eyebrow “he answers to bruiser. bruiser woods. i’m elle woods,  we’re both gemini vegetarians, if that helps.”

“look, i don’t know what to tell you.” the brunette sighed, eyes meeting with the person who had stopped her outside the hospital “you should probably go talk to a gp about that, or maybe visit the emergency department. i’m just a neurosurgery resident, and you definitely don’t need brain surgery.” she spoke, trying to keep a calming expression on her face “ and i’m trying to eat my lunch.”

Coop had been searching for his family for days. His concern for their wellbeing only growing as he continually struck out looking for clues. Even with such higher up sources as the Elders. Finally he was transported to DC. There was a strange magic in the air, yet he was determined to find his family first before devoting any attention to that oddity. “Pardon me.” He says to the first person he sees. “I’m looking for my family.” The cupid adds as he takes out his wallet to show the numerous amounts of pictures he had. “Have you possibly seen any of them around here?”

Renfri had been keeping a very low profile as she came to terms with her new situation. While her heart was still set on revenge against the one who changed the course of her life; she found herself slowly opening up to new experiences. Music in this time was much more appealing to her and a few times now she has joined in on open mic nights such as this. After signing "Two Evils" by Bastille (a song that held great significance and irony for her) she heads to the bar and orders herself a drink. Without fully looking at the person beside her she smiles and says. "Hello, are you enjoying the night?"
