Mike was just... checking to see if Jeremy fully healed up! Yeah. That's it.

I headcanon remnant to, in leiu of a scar, leave behind some kind of residue under the skin that flouresces. People that have absorbed lots of remnant have glowing eyes. In broad daylight you wouldn't see any glow, though.

After realising remnant regeneration is so good Michael can pass as Alive Human (YTB my complicated relationship), I was searching for ways to let him still be uncanny. And, well, Glamrock Freddy's glowing eyes are pretty freaky looking in darkness, and the power source of the plex glows, so it just kinda made sense.

I feel like I have to explain Jeremy specifically... he's got a red glow to his eyes to match Bonnie, but he's still very much the blue of the red and blue dynamic jeremike have going on. Oh, and his healed injuries match that of Glamrock Bonnie's decomissioned state because i think that's meant to also show us the results of 'dissassembly' on humans and Jeremy specifically.

Glamrock Bonnie tells us what happened to Jeremy

I believe the Bonnie we find whilst exploring Ruin was supposed to clue us in on the damage the Hw2 protagonist sustained in the 'helptrap' ending.

Specifically, I'm pointing out the ripped-off limbs and disembowelled state of the animatronic. In one of the SB endings we see a STAFF reach for Vanny's arm. Freddy also sustains damage to his limbs and abdomen (yes, he's sustained less damage than bonnie but Freddy is an animatronic and Bonnie is representing a far squishier human).

Bonnie is also missing the side of his head casing. In the Hw2 protagonist's case, I don't think this came from 'disassembly'. We all remember a certain Jeremy's run-in with a paper guillotine, don't we?

If I may also add, Glamrock Bonnie's hair and accessories work to cover his forehead. Under remnantregen the Bite of '87 victim could have fully recovered, but it definitely appears that the identity of the victim and his whereabouts was kept under wraps if what Ralph has to say about them means anything. If Jeremy is Jeremy Fitzgerald, he may be obligated (by Afton, who else) to cover up any marks that identify him and obviously would be forbidden from mentioning his true identity and the experiments.

Just gonna add here that I REALLY don't think Jeremy Fitzgerald was stuffed into Mask Bot. There's no space in there. Maybe like some organs or smthing but there are critical components in STAFF bot heads required for them to function (we've never seen a working headless STAFF-bot) and there's the red texture in its head. Jeremy likely just possessed one of the bots that disassembled him. And before you tell me that it was a Nightmare STAFF not a regular one, every character that's seen one has had a chip in their heads that effects how they perceive reality. The nightmare STAFF probably aren't real in any physical sense.

That being said, there's a deeply messed up possibility Cassie didn't see Bonnie, she saw her dad instead and the network covered it up... probably not. Hopefully not...
