Candy Cadet's stories analysis (part three):
This is my awkward attempt at analyzing the stories Candy Cadet tells in pizzeria simulator. I'll make separate posts for each one of them. This is the third and last story, the one about the five orphans, feel free to share your own opinion and correct me if I say some wrong stuff, I've been thinking about these stories all day and my brain is kinda fried.
I believe the stories follow a chronological order of events, so this would be starting after the killings of the previous ones and possibly after fnaf 2 entirely.
"Now I will tell you a story. A story about a kind man who would visit five orphans and bring them toys and gladness.
The protagonist is a saviour-like character whose goal is to protect the five kids, it could be Charlie (possessing the puppet ofc), who has a similar goal in the games (the line “bring them toys and gladness” can refer to her minigame, “Give Gifts, Give Life”, in fnaf 2). The use of the word orphans could further hint at the fact we're talking about already dead kids, their spirits, that are alone and confused like abandoned kids.
The man lived alone, and lived in fear that someone might break into the house of one of the five children.
The fear of someone breaking into the homes of the orphans could be her fear of William coming to take them (assuming he already tried to collect the possessed metal in fnaf 2, before getting fired, after that Charlie could fear he would try again)
So he adopted all five, and brought them together in one place in his own home. He promised them to never leave them, and they promised to always come home and never stay out too late.
The safe house where all the kids are is the fnaf 1 pizzeria, the last location to open before pizzeria simulator, where the possessed animatronics are all together except for the puppet, even though this story could confirm that Charlie was indeed there, just hiding and watching over the others. This would confirm the puppet's whereabouts during the time between fnaf 2 and pizzeria simulator. If she stuck with the missing kids to look after them even as they were moved to another location, it would make sense for Henry to know how to catch her with Lefty, in pizzeria simulator, since he could assume where she was (from his final speech it is clear he knows she protected the kids in some way, he has no way of knowing unless he saw it happen personally, for example seeing her still stick to molten freddy).
He left one day to buy food, his heart being filled with gladness, but returned to find that the burglar had chosen his home, and killed all five of the children.
The part of the burglar likely refers to the fnaf 3 minigame “follow me” where William lures the animatronic in what looks like a fnaf 1 adjacent location and tears them apart one by one, collecting their soul-infused metal, effectively killing them a second time.
The man could only afford one coffin, so he stitched the five bodies together to make one, and buried the child.
The coffin part is a bit tricky, I believe the putting them all together in just one body refers to William fusing the metal in the sl bunker, “mixing” their souls. Though, up until now the man referred to Charlie, clearly not William, but following chronological order it makes sense to have the fusing of the bodies here (more on that later).
That night, there was a knock at the door”
The last sentence could refer to the last time William set foot in the building. In the “follow me” minigames, at the end William gets springlocked and won't leave the safe room for the next 30ish years, which means that he had to build the funtimes and collect the remnant BEFORE this event, but AFTER him dismantling the animatronics (since he collected it from them). This proves that William came back one last time in the abandoned pizzeria that technically didn't have any more animatronics inside to take something else, and I feel like it's the puppet, the last robot that he knows is possessed, the first he gave life to, even though accidentally. This last line would confirm that William indeed came back to the location after collecting the remnant and fusing the souls, to get the last one, but we know he never managed since he got springlocked.
