I don't think it's accurate to describe the Indigenous dancer Maria Tallchief as a white woman?
This is a fantastic catch! Thank you so much for pointing that out! I have edited the image description on our website and will be reposting the article later here with the updated/accurate information. Thank you so very much for pointing this out!

He was one of the narrators! Basically, the framing device was that various figures from Socrates’ life were getting together to argue about give their accounts of what went down. Think the Symposium, only with less sex and more existential sadness and musical set-pieces.
Okay so I LOVE "Under Your Wings" and I noticed something in the last update, which was that Grantaire consistently seems to be both infinitely knowledgeable and deeply ignorant. He seems to know *everything* that could, for instance, be the answer to a well-formatted question; but he's often got almost no "feel" for the emotional consequences of his words and actions. So in conversations, things often turn out much worse for him than they have to...
Yeah, he knows almost everything about everything except how exactly to be a person and form healthy human relationships :’) But he’s learning!
I grew a watermelon plant on a wire grid fence once and didn't check it for a few days. It made a melon Right In Between the wires, bulging them apart. I decided to let it be and it eventually pushed itself out, then I made a hammock for it. (It got to be about 40 lbs, so it's a good thing I did.) But as far as I know the fence still has a Noticeable Hole where wire once had to yield to melon.
like i love those plant stories where its clear that the plant just does not give a Singular Shit like “fuck you” *superplexes fence*
on a related note my family tried to grow watermelons one year and the plant squeezed out a single melon about 4-5 inches in diameter. we cut it up like a regular melon and found that it was really good, it just….was very small and every slice was like one inch rind, one inch fruit. that post was the first time i’d ever heard of making a hammock for a single watermelon, which i am overjoyed is a thing that happens…..like
I have a really bad feeling about this meeting. Please stay safe!
We’re really trying to remain…cautiously optimistic. -Combeferre
If we go in there all suspicious, they’ll notice and there will be even MORE tension than there probably already will be. ~JP
