After being in the house for a couple of days, (nearly a week, Haru thought to himself, how time flies by) Haru finally decided that he could say that had officially settled in. He still felt awkward sometimes, but he had met enough people now not to feel like he was constantly walking on eggshells. This was how he found himself now, sitting comfortably in the lounge as he chatted with his friends on his laptop.
He could see a girl he had met and introduced himself to a couple of days before, Ryumin, watching something out of the corner of his eye - he wasn’t paying enough attention to know what the show was, but he had been managing to follow along regardless. However, that was when it clicked. His head snapped up as he realised that the show has been in Japanese the entire time, and to his surprise any trace of Korean subtitles on the screen were non-existent. This meant she must understand it, right? Trying to contain his excitement at the thought of having someone to talk to, Haru turned his head to speak.
“Do you speak Japanese?”
