eira is pretty hard wearing in certain circumstances ; she would never say she gives in easy, she has strong morals that she holds dear to herself, but she does know when she’s fighting a losing battle, and that sometimes giving in is the only way that they can succeed. instead of being emotionally driven, she is logical in her thought pattern, and will not persevere if the odds look bad in her favour.

take for example, her love for the sea and her wish to go sailing. it is a desire she has had for five years, and despite no longer being under her parents watchful eye, she continues to bide by their rules, and not pursue her dream -- not because she’s given up on it per sé, but because she’s assessed that acting now wouldn’t be smart.
