"Your lips twitch into a smile when you boast, it’s attractive. I like it." Henry smirked; he knew from tales of the Norsemen she would dislike such comments. He liked her ire. "Angincourt, Harfleur, all of France and Ireland. Like my father and his father before I have conquered many lands, and they all know to keep their wits about them when in my company." He watched the table fall and quirked a brow, secretly swallowing intimidation.

"Now that’s a waste of a good table."

In response to his observation she scrunched her face at him in a brief scowl,

"You should see me on the field when I demonstrate the truth to those claims. And you boast with as much pleasure in it yourself."

"I should say the same to you." Henry's lips twitched into a smile as he lept onto the table and pointed his sword at her. "The fields of Angincourt are stained with the blood of the French, their king underestimated my prowess and that of my men. I would hate to see such an angel as yourself meet the same fate."

"Only Agincourt?" The shieldmaiden laughed, "I am no angel, kingling, I've been called goddess, goddess of war. Are you ready for that?" She said just as she kicked out the legs of the table.
