Atom Anon Won’t Shut Up About Side Characters 3: The Reckoning.
Lect and Hychel got along because of a shared interest in philosophy. Hychel only joined the careers because he didn’t want to see his district partners get hurt. (Though they were betrayed and that’s why Fisser and Potena died.) During their final moments on the volcano, they thought about the philosophies of death and came to their final consensus.
Coil and Potena fought a lot (because of their associations with Dio and Anion.) They’d absolutely tear each other apart even during training, and the peacekeepers had to consistently separate them. When Coil saw Potena’s portrait in the sky, she wasn’t happy though. She may not have liked Potena but she wasn’t happy she had to die.
Nona’s relations with Dio and Anion were surprisingly civil and good. She’d usually drop what the careers were doing in order to warn the others. (She was so tired of having to deal with them so she exposed their plans to Dio and Ani.) They remain friends in the afterlife. Nona usually counts the stars.
Fisser had a brother named Fuser. (Lol Nuclear Fission and Fusion.) Fisser was an optimist while Fuser was a pessimist. Both were parented by a single dad, Helios. He worked for a Solar Panel company.

delightful atom anon you are always welcome to ramble here <3
i LOVE that part about hychel and lect. i’m so curious now as to what their specific thoughts were and how they felt. was is comforting to think of the philosophies of death? did it give them peace? i love that philosophy hc though, its giving me more insight into them!
i bet seeing potena’s image in the sky brought up a lot of mixed feelings for coil. someone you’ve fought with and were (slightly?) enemies with dead. even though they had to die for you to live, it’s still hard to process.
they stayed friends in the afterlife. nona usually counts the stars.
excuse me while i cry that’s just a beautiful sentiment.
thank you again for these thoughts! it gives me a chance to reflect on characters that i don’t know well!
