If you do not complete the post-game, when you go to Wyndon Stadium to defend your title, you’ll always battle 3 of the 15 challengers. This will give you a better chance at seeing each one and their team. (Though Bulbapedia kind of shows them.)

Personally, I recommend encountering Pia, Yue, Vega, Kent, and Icla, but that’s just me. ^^

Tbh, IDK! I don't watch the anime much, but I have fond memories of the black and white series of animation from when I was younger. So maybe that because of personal memories? (and the fact I love the intro's message lol.)

You ever get so obsessed with ciphertexts you’re convinced games you play have secret messages in them, sort of like how the early days of analog horror snd creepypastas used ciphertexts?

I decided on using the A1Z26 one on Wingeria orders to try and see if the order numbers corresponded to anything. Tried it on Boomer and Scooter’s final orders. (Boomer’s was 8 cheese cubes, 4 BBQ Wings 4 Garlic. Scooter’s was 3 Honey Mustard Nuggets, 3 celery sticks, and 6 carrots. Making the code 844363.)

All I got was gibberish though. Because A = 1 and B = 2 and so on… it translates to HDDCFC.

Dangit. Maybe there will be hidden messages in future games…

Hey, Lavy? Remember how I made a passing mention that Boomer and Scooter may or may not have been banished? Well, it’s for a couple reasons.

The Cone, a testament to Starlight City’s greed and ignorance became more of an entertainment destination than Boomer’s performances. That, and the electricity bills being divided among the people here isn’t helping either. (I based this on the June 26th issue of Nowtime News.) Thus, Gym Leader Boomer was banished. Scooter was too by association because they were very close, and Foodini probably wanted to get rid of a competitive “threat.” When in reality, he took the daily lives of two innocent people away.

The council of Starlight City noticed Boomer’s power was weakening as a fire/flying leader and thus revoked her leader status because of “weakness.” Of course, she didn’t take it well and tried sacking the governing body of her hometown, which did not work. Yet another factor to her banishment.

I’m thinking now, Boomer and Scooter have a “Gym-In-Exile” located in Scrapple Hill. Amiria granted them residency, and they’ve been hiding there since. I know we don’t know much about this place, but sort of like The Free Cities in Essos in some way, I’m thinking the smaller locations you mention: (Ketona Beach, Scrapple Hill, Tarataho Island, Philly Heights, Tricksylvania, and Thrasher’s Heap are all free societies ungoverned at the moment by a gym in the Gurthian League.)

So… yeah. Long story short, Daredevil caused too much racket for Foodini’s egotistical self, so he ordered the powers that be to remove two innocent people.

I’ll think of a reason as to why Mesa’s not in the main roster too. Not too sure when yet, but I know I consider her very rebellious and she hates the league very much. Think of her as Lucy Gray Baird in some way. Yui’s technically Katniss in this regard too.

Sorry if this doesn’t exactly fit your vision. I was having fun writing this post lol, and what happens when Pokemon, Game of Thrones, The Hunger Games, and Papa Louie mix in my head lol.

I have three main ones! Bugsy, Roark, and Gardenia. :D

I also liked Milo & Nessa too. Ramos was a good one too… Lenora as well.

bored. (and feeling funny.) have the typings of the geek squad because I’m bored of waiting for sotr to release and i want to get into this fandom again.

Nona - Fighting/Psychic (Polar opposites, I know. Though D2s are well known for their strength, so I assume this type, and because of the mythological associations of one of the fates, I gave her the psychic type.)

Dio - Steel/Electric (kind of makes sense. Circuit boards… blah blah blah D3 typical typing.)

Lect - Steel/Psychic (He’d totally have a Bronzong. But for real though, I could see hik half psychic because of his deep thinking I HC him to have.)

Coil - Steel/Poison (The steel is easy to explain, electromagnetic coils, AC currents, but the poison type is more metaphorical. She doesn’t exactly mind messing with people’s relationships so… TOXIC. She would hate the crap out of Alberto and Penny…)

Hychel - Electric/Water (Hydroelectric Dam makes energy. Water makes turbines turn. :D)

Anion - Electric/Fire (This one’s a very obtuse reference but on her chariot outfit, I HC she had solar panels… the sun is basically a big ball of fire undergoing nuclear fusion. I have no idea what this has to do with anions but idk man.)

Fisser - Electric/Poison (This one’s in a literal sense. Nuclear Power’s dangerous when handled incorrectly, and even when handled right, it is incredibly risky. Radioactive Waste is essentially poison so…)

Potena - Electric/Flying (I had to do a bit of digging for this lol. Potential Energy and all of that. Not sure what it has to do with the flying type though. I mean, positional potential energy can come from high places… That and her HC’d chariot outfit was based on wind power so…)

I was reading some of Aesop’s Fables a couple days ago.

So here, have this monstrosity I wrote. It’s a fable of my own. For context too, I use the word Decker to refer to a skateboarder. While the dictionary does not recognize this as a term, I made it as such because fables were often told with older english. From what I know, skateboarders call the actual boards of said skateboards, decks, so this is where I get this term. Please tell me if this is not okay, and I will correct it as such. Anyways, enjoy.

A little note from the writer too. Try and guess who these refer to. ;)

“The Daredevil & The Decker.”

One midnight’s eve, a Daredevil was sullied in her hubris. Positioned in her cannon and ready to strike, she awaited the signal of her fire. Thus, when she was chucked from her cannon into the air, she found great joy in touting her stunts, landing with ease on the ground only to be fired again. In the crowd, a lowly but wise Decker had happened to spot The Daredevil in her pride and condemned her behavior. “What in life, shall you gain if you have no pride to show?” said the Decker. “I am loved and am made notable by the people and by the higher ones above, you should know your place.” replied The Daredevil. Of course as you know, pride comes before the fall, and on her attempt at a human cannonball, it failed, sending her plummeting onto the asphalt below, disappointing the crowds and disgusting the high class. Her helmet had shattered, revealing the person she was underneath. Yet, but a modest human who lost her way. All but The Decker abandoned her, for she took her fallen companion’s side. As she helped her up to her feet, The Decker couldn’t help but notice the pure and true form that The Daredevil was from underneath the helmet. Befuddled as to why such a lowly person took mercy on her and left speechless, The Decker uttered her wise words. “You have but no pride to show when under a false pretense. When you shatter your hubris, you are left without your fame, but with friends. Is that not enough to satisfy?”

Your Moral Of The Day: “Where the boastful show no kindness, the humble will. Forgive those who own up to their follies.”

Been listening to this little piece of music for a bit. A take on Blue Moon Bay’s theme, but if were made for Mario Kart! (For context, this video seems to be showcasing well… the theme I described for a mod known as Mario Kart Midnight, if I remember correctly, it’s a HUGE modding thing that adds a whole ton of fanmade tracks.)
