There are a couple ways to do it, I try to feed him Big Game Meat whenever I remember, you can do it quickly by eating things like candy or canned foods and then resting. Pitch camp, make some more food, eat it, set up a tent and go inside, then leave the tent (you should get a weight increase indicator in your health core) if that doesn’t work break down camp and it should work then. Just repeat the process of eating. Eat regularly, if don’t hear the bell chime stop wasting food and give it a bit then eat again. 

I am in the process of doing some experiments and getting a full record of all of Arthur’s weights. So I am hoping that I can get that out soon, but it’s definitely a labor of love |D

maybe I remember this wrong but I think there's a mission with Tilly where Arthur robes a stagecoach with her and Bill and Tilly is dragging Bill's ass. so there's a mission and she rides on her own. but I'm not a 100% on that. only did it once I think

No, you’re right! I totally forgot about that mission. I think I have only gotten that one once as well. They drag Bill the whole time about how crap his plan is!

every time I see his scars all I can think is how ITCHY THOSE STITCHES HAD TO BE

Seriously, because the last like 3x I’ve had them I felt FERAL and they weren’t on my face. But I cannot imagine how itchy that would be! I hope that he kept them moisturized enough to ebb the itchiness...but we all know he didn’t.

Sorry this is a bit delayed, I wanted to get you some reference images :)

These are just a few of my favorite places around the map, I greatly enjoy a lot of the areas in the map. Honestly it’s the great depth of field in the map, the details that just make it for me. I really love mountains and wide open spaces, but they just made Saint Denis so great, and so accurate to how upsetting it was supposed to be to Arthur. the area near the Lanik Electric Company at night? Amazing!

What's the best time to run around in game and do stuff? Pre or post TB? Cuz idk if I can bare having to deal with sick Arthur again

Hey! Honestly, there are a lot of times that are fun to run around in game. Generally, if I start a new game (I think I have 4 going right now?) I spend a lot of time at the beginning avoiding the storyline. I try to take some time and go hunting for some perfect pelts as early as Colter, mostly because I really like a lot of the outfit pieces the trapper has, so I try to get those stocked up while you have to hunt constantly for the camp.

I usually try and explore the whole map while the group is camping at horseshoe overlook, because why not? Its relaxing, Arthur is healthy, you need to hunt for the gang so it’s a reason to get out, Micah’s rat ass is in jail…it’s the perfect time! (I do mean the whole map, like, you can take a boat around to the San Luis River as Arthur if you skirt Blackwater.)

There are certain things you can’t really do until you have certain guns, so I tend to try and help as many people as I can to get the free guns and stuff when you help them. Some guns will be locked until certain points of the story, but you should be able to get the basic model of each type of gun by chapter 2.

Each part of the story has different perks to explore, I tend to stay in Chapters 1-4 when exploring, just because Arthur’s wheezing makes my heart sad, but I still have a game in Chapter 6 that I open up, because there are still cut scenes and things I can only get there.

So it depends on what you wanna do, I would recommend chapters 1-4 for things like rock carvings, dinosaur bones (though you can’t get them all as Arthur) and hunting requests (again, Arthur can’t complete the final mission >:v).

Enjoy exploring, try messing around in West Elizabeth, get yourself a bounty in New Austin with Arthur, have fun!
