Do you think the show would've been better if Hyde and Jackie were together from the start, going through the bumps but always end up back together?

Hmm. That's a good question. Yeah. I'd like that. They would've started becoming better people way earlier because of each other. That would've been fantastic. But here's how I think it should've been written. It should've been a slowburn. The enemies to friends to lovers trope. Making each other better people and bonding. They sorta did that but it could've been written way better. There should've been a lot more scenes and development. The whole thing felt so rushed and underdeveloped. Especially the friendship. The few purely platonic scenes that they had were great but it could've been way better. They wouldn't romantically like each other immediately. They'd hate each other for a while but then the canon platonic scenes would happen. Except Hyde wouldn't reject her attempts to be friends with him. They'd be friends for a while but as time goes by that friendship love slowly becomes something else. They would slowly and truly fall in love with each other for a couple or a few seasons. And then they would stay together for the rest of the show. They would have problems but they would face them together and they'd stay with each other no matter what. I'd write a fanfic if I had enough mental and emotional energy to do that. Somebody who's a good writer, please write it. Idk. Maybe I'm delusional. Maybe this is a stupid idea. Please have mercy on me. I'm trying my best.
