My new story is now up! Much Ado About Casting: Chapter 1
Summary: Despite never having any intention of being an actress, Rey’s life gets turned upside down when she does her friend Rose - the creator, showrunner and lead actress on a television show - a favor. She assumed taking a small role on Rose’s show (aptly named Women) would be a one day job. Oh, how she was wrong. She quickly ends up working adjacent Rose, her best friend Finn and the whole cast - Maziah Kanata, Kaydel Connix, Armitage Hux and Benjamin Solo - and somehow holds her own. But complications arise when Rose takes her aside and tells her of her new plot: Her character, Kira, knew Solo’s character and, in fact, had a complicated and tumultuous romantic relationship with him.

- Summary:
The adventurous Rey Andor became a flight attendant once she graduated from NYU. Two years later, she had traveled all over the world collecting mementos while getting her masters in psychology. She spent the majority of her days in airport lounges, cafes and hotels in between moments at home and going to class. In between the exhilarating moments it was exhausting and mundane. That is, until one day she ran into a brick wall, a man, actually, at JFK airport and everything changed. When the flight to Paris was derailed because of a snow storm they touched down in Iceland and the lay over that was supposed to be only a couple of hours was delayed until the next day, or until the storm had safely passed. Rey had been stuck at plenty of airports before, but never one as eventful as this one because on this flight was Ben Solo. After getting stuck in an airport lounge with the man and arguably drinking too much red wine Rey did something she rarely did. She made a move on him, which quickly turned into her joining him at his hotel room. Rey assumed the one-night stand would be just that, one night, but something changed in her. Something that will inevitably change the entire course of her life.
- Why You Love It:
My fic. A one night stand modern au between flight attendant/ graduate student Rey and Ben Solo Prince of Alderaan that turns into a modern Cinderella story with hints of Princess Diaries and a very gay Sex In The City along with pro-choice and political intrigue themes and Queen Leia being a badass and Han Solo being Han.
Time to go back to the beginning folks and what better way than karaoke night hehehe

Chapter 17 Excerpt:
Ben was taking a quick nap with his seat reclined while Rey was curled up on her seat, reading still. Her stomach growled. It was around the time she usually ate lunch. She internally debated getting up and rummaging through the kitchenette, but she didn’t want to wake Ben. He looked exhausted; she’d wondered if he even got any sleep last night or if she’d just slept through him tossing and turning.
Making her choice, she sifted through her tote bag until she found the peanut butter. She froze. “Spoon,” Rey said quietly to herself in realization. Fuck it. She opened the jar and used her finger. While she was quietly sucking on her finger to get off the residual food, Ben stirred and sat up.
Rey grimaced as he opened his eyes and took her in, open jar of peanut butter on her lap and licking her lips.
“I guess, mystery solved,” Ben said dryly as he stretched in his seat.
“Huh?” she asked, confused.
He waved at the jar in her lap. “You do enjoy peanut butter.”
“Oh,” Rey whispered, suddenly remembering their conversation hours ago. “Yeah. I was hungry.”
Ben’s eyebrows rose as he nodded. “I see. You could have grabbed something else.”
Rey shrugged. “I didn’t want to wake you.”
“We’ve slept in the same bed numerous times. You really didn’t know I can sleep through anything?”
“I was drunk or high on orgasms most nights, so no I didn’t remember.”
“Even the morning you ditched me with a note?” he added, stretching his neck.
Rey sighed. “Should I apol-”
“Consider it forgiven,” Ben mumbled as he took a sip of water.
Rey smiled at the blasé tone. “You know, that morning I stuck around to iron my uniform.”
Ben’s eyes widened as he smiled in that goofy and endearing way that showed off the unevenness of his teeth. “You, what?”
Rey nodded. “Yep, I went back and forth between your room a bunch of times. You barely moved.”
“Besides the time you told me to go back to sleep?”
Rey pushed her hair behind her ear. “You remember that?” she asked, voice painfully quiet.
“I remember everything about that night, Rey.”
Rey caught his eyes and swore her heart started pounding out of her chest at the beauty behind them.
