To Infinity (mirror) and Beyond!
With the hand in date being tomorrow for integrative we are so close to being done with our infinity mirror. With only our mirror tint to come we have every component we need to complete our assignment. The way we are going to present our infinity mirror at the showcase night is by hanging the mirror from the ceiling and having a black veil around it. Once you step in the veil you will be in complete darkness except for the never ending LED display above you, giving you the perfect hyper-loop experience. The way we came up with this idea was through our research into 80′s and 90′s sci-fi films. Specifically the scene in 2001: A Space Odyssey, when Bowman enters the Stargate sequence. This scene uses the Slit screen technique to create its wild and colourful look. We hope to create something similar with our infinity mirror and I can’t wait to see the end result. As for the poster I designed That too was heavily inspired by 80′s film posters, specifically Alien and Tron.
