Mercury's symbol comes from its Latin name, hydrargyrum. Its melting point is -38.8C, so mercury the only known metal that is liquid at room temperature. Mercury is also capable of dissolving most metals, turning into a soft alloy called an amalgam.

This is my first drawing from my serie Chemical Elements as People. I plan to draw all elements of periodic table.

The audience was transported to the fluid potential of group work in Patricia Okenwa’s Hydrargyrum, which is an esoteric and archaic name for mercury. Six dancers were clothed in hooded costumes that gave them a genderless anonymity.
This is part of the animatic I’m gonna make. Yes I’m still making the animatic, it’s just hard to think of frames.
