The term “Titans”, as used by most Cybertronians, is something of a generalisation over several different tribes: the Metrotypes, the Guardians, the Scorponoks, the House of Maximus, and the Zods, to name but a few.

They are linked by their immense size, and their separation from smaller Cybertronians, but to the titans, their differences are often more important than their commonalities. Many of those tribes would claim no kinship with the Charybdians like Hydratron, and would view any comparison to be insulting.

The gender of Titans has long been argued over by smaller Cybertronians; it has often been difficult to determine, and Titans have always been reticent to talk about matters close to them. Occasionally even it varies between form. In my youth I knew one Titan who presented as male when in their humanoid mode, but identified as both male and female when in city mode. It is also worth noting that "mother" is a common title for Titans, even those who are otherwise referred to with male pronouns. This may be a consequence of many incarnations of cityformers containing hot spots or other spark-generating facilities within themselves. Alpha Trion would probably know the specifics of the terminology better than I.

Nonetheless, I can assure you that many Titans have seemed to present themselves as female cybertronians, and acknowledged themselves with the relevant pronouns. Just a handful of examples are Airwave, Arachnid, Hydratron, Lodestar, Nana, Quintessa, Tempo, and certain incarnations of Fortress Maximus, Metrotitan, Caminus and Trypticon.
