After a few weeks of silence, I finished drawing the comic. @angelwolf1994, remember when we talked about ideas in the comments that we're ashamed of? Well, this is it. A little explanation. In the Prime Wars Trilogy, there was a moment when Starscream's spirit, after being deactivated, possessed Trypticon and went on a rampage through Cybertron. I found this idea so amusing... And I thought, what if I put Skyfire in this story and make it absurd? Skyfire is the wife whose husband is always getting into trouble. Megatron's dissatisfied wife is also present. It's difficult for me to take the first two parts of the Prime Wars Trilogy seriously. Starscream's betrayal seems like he forgot to take his morning pills. And some of the decisions are just... questionable. I haven't watched the third one yet, but I doubt it will be any better. Anyway, it was fun.

Imagine: Domestication but for non-beastformers.

Two ideas:

1. Completely removing/altering the brain module so that they’re just. A vehicle or an object or stuff

And 2. Altering the brain module like you would with domestication of a Beastformet but. They’re still a car. A car growling and acting territorial lile a dog, a jet squaking like a bird, cassette payer that you’re 90% sure just bit you.

Honestly I think a lot about either since I think the social implications for either are SO interesting in fascinating ways

I think the Functionists are more liable to do #1, but #2 is one of those things that happens during the war and the rescue becomes immensely emotionally complicated

#2 would probably require a bit more mnemosurgery to switch everything, where #1 allows for much more damage considering how we see some bots can literally fully die and still have a viable altmode

(though there's a nice angst to annihilating someone's being so thoroughly they become a nonsentient living machine on a planet of sapient living machines, and it's a specific move keeping them alive but destroying their mind rather than just killing them outright then using their body)

Hey wouldn't #1 just be what happened to TFP Trypticon turning him into the Nemesis??

It's such a socially specific move to use the process of Domestication on a non-beastformer though. One could also account for forced reformats here, though I like to think that crosses over into different territory too.

Part of me wants to apply #2 to Starscream in one of those situations after one of the Big Serious coups fails, or maybe one of those aus with Quintesson interference
