I love trans voices in audio dramas. I love when trans characters are voiced by trans actors and their voice isn't 100% passing. I love that said characters are never misgendered. I love how their voices sound beautiful and authentic. I love that their voces sound like mine or my friend's.
I love Interview With the Vampire season because I wake up and the first thing I see is Eric Bogosian biting Assad Zaman unprompted and Assad asking him to continue WHILE he was doing some press from the show. This is the only tv series ever.
I haven't seen anyone here talking about James Tolber and Paul Rubalino's hard launch.
They're the new IT couple of indie musical theater and improv comedy, and I'd love to see them share a stage
I'm currently binging Woe.Begone, a podcast well-known for it's abundancy of Mikes, and my partner is watching the Pitt. You can imagine how confused I was when I discover that Mr. Pitt (how I was calling the main character) IS named Michael, and my partner had been picturing this in his mind while he listened to episode 44:
I can officially say I have written a feature film and a TV show in a year. Yay me!
They should invent a me that's not tired
Listening to the first episode of the severance podcast is so funny because when I saw Dylan's outie in the door factory I was immediately like "ah. That's a good wink to Dan's life and the job that inspired the show". But then the scene plays out, and, because of that knowledge, you see how precarious Dylan's situation is: he really struggles to get and keep a job, but he really needs one for health insurance (either his wife or one of his kids needs it). Lumon's severed job was a way to avoid that and get a steady income, but after losing it Dylan not only returns to this employment uncertainty, he is even in a worst position after because of being severed, which will close him doors even in the shittiest of jobs. If it wasn't for Mark S., Dylan and his family would have really struggled to stay afloat. And all this information is conveyed in an interview in a door fabric! Television is so back.
