To be honest, Kagura didn’t understand any of this. It reminds her of some manga plot that’s way too overcomplicated for even Gin to read in Shonen Jump--

No. That’s wrong.

Kagura understands that she is meant to fight. It’s always been that way. That’s the curse of her blood. The blood of a Yato, an alien species known for their strength and blood thirsty massacres across the galaxy.

( Even her classification taunts her. Berserker. The word conjures up an image of the one person she wants to save the most. The bloody face that used to be her beloved ‘big brother’. )

The young girl slams her foot against the nearest (inanimate) object. Right now, there’s no point thinking. First--

Sea Salt Ice Cream was a bit of an oddity. Salty and sweet. The perfect mixture, one might say. Having it after a hard day’s work? Well, it was the icing on the cake. Something good after something you didn’t really want to do. It was small...but it had gotten him through a lot of tough times. Then again...so had having friends. Something he didn’t really have anymore. “Aw, well. Guess there’s no accounting for taste.”

Despite everything else he may have been and become, Shirou was foremost a man of God. His faith was the most important thing to him, and it shaped many of his actions. Though not officially recognized, he was still considered a Saint and he always endeavored to live up to that title.

So when he, in his efforts to glean more about their environment and the opposing Masters and Servants, felt the presence of the Divine, it was more temptation than he could resist. Did some measure of his faith hold true, even in this place? Was there some aspect of Him that lived, even here? Following that instinct and those questions, he came across their source, a girl who practically shone, in his eyes, with the radiance of the Divine. 

By his eyes, she was not a Servant...a Master then? Even so, he could not bring himself to view her as his enemy, not when she held such radiance within her.

Alright, one last time-- as reserved, here's my OC Amrita Nehra. Her application can be found at the third link on the top or by adding /Scripture to her url. Hopefully everything is alright now.

Dear Amrita Nehra,

Welcome to Hiraeth Academy. Due to your great accomplishments in your own world, we have taken the liberty of summoning you here to Hiraeth in hopes that you will aid us in shaping the minds of those less experienced with their special abilities. We ask that you please report to the Headmistress’s office after reading this letter, so that you can receive a full briefing of what is expected of you. We are certain that your prowess with General Education will benefit those attending our academy. You will become their instructor, a guiding hand that will lead them down what we hope will be the right path.

You will be housed in our specialized staff housing, in room B-107, located in a building separate from the school, tucked away on the western side of campus. After you have seen to visiting the Headmistress, you are welcome to visit there any time to replenish your energy and have a break from teaching. You will be asked to introduce yourself to the students at the next meal, so please come prepared.
