Personally, I lost it at “My axe isn’t the only thing that’s big” and I went on this downward spiral to doodle this shitty little comic with Hector joking around with my two versions of Mark. Please ignore the fact that I can’t draw Hector’s hair. I also apologize that my handwriting isn’t the best

This took me 50 forevers but I really like the way this turned out. I kinda copped out on the background since I have like 0 experience with them, but I tried my best! I tried a lot of new things with this one and I'm super proud of myself. I really hope you all like it! I've been chipping away at her bio, so hopefully I'll have that done soon! I'm still picking out a name for her, so I'm just sticking with Nanyang for right now.

So six years ago, I drew Daqiao in her Dynasty Warriors 5 outfit (fav.me/d40ft57). It was atrocious and quite frankly, I was 11 and I drew it from memory. I decided that it was time to do my favorite Dynasty Warriors lady some justice and redraw her. I remained somewhat faithful to the original but actually referenced her this time. Daqiao has always held a special place in my heart, especially her Dynasty Warriors 5 incarnation. She was an intelligent young lady who followed the man she loved into battle all because she wanted to help him. While I still love her, I'm very disappointed in what she has become; a trope personality of the timid girl. Where has her silent determination gone? Where is the young woman that I looked up to all those years ago? In my heart, Dynasty Warriors 5 Daqiao will always be the true Daqiao. ~This was done using a Wacom Intuos tablet and PaintToolSAI~ Dynasty Warriors belongs to Koei Tecmo

Practice using SAI featuring my Dynasty Warriors OC Sun Xiuying. I was listening to JoyDreamer’s cover of Don’t Go, which inspired this. I just want to say that SAI is a blessing and I love it. I do think that I should have used cooler lighting, but it’s okay, I can go back and edit it later.
