I'm pretty sure I have ADHD but don't know how to explain to my parents without feeling stupid. Could you give me some advice?
My advice to you is to be prepared for questions. Know the ins and outs of ADHD because they will be defensive about it because to them it will probably feel like an insult to their parenting for not realising or just for you having it - and its not. It's really not but once you explain everything and you assure them it has nothing to do with their parenting they will react better to it and will get you some help. Hopefully getting you diagnosed!

If they have heard everything about the condition and you can tell them clearly about the symptoms you show of it then they're more like to listen and take everything you say seriously.
