I miss Subspace... Holy shit. Why do I miss Subspace out of all people?

There was so much blood on my hands.

I don't know how many I killed. Hundreds, maybe thousands. All at the whims of demons I never even liked.

And Katana still claimed I was pure of corruption.

How am I simply meant to live knowing how many lives I've taken? When those I was living for, Princess, Katana, those kids from Thieves' Den and Playground, are gone?

I never liked being a mercenary. I can only pray such a life never greets me now.

Canon holidays.

Blackrock was never big on celebrations, but it was a common tradition to gift others clothes during the winter months, similar to Christmas here, but always clothes. It was more than important to have warm fresh clothes to combat the tough blizzards. Almost nothing else was celebrated aside from any big wins from the scientific community.

Katana told me about some Thieves' Den holidays once. I don't remember most of them, except for the tradition of family always joining together on certain days, including found families. Parties of these kinds were commonly massive due to large branching social networks. Katana invited me to one once, a smaller one with just him, Vine Staff, Shuriken, Slingshot, and the latter's partners. There was something about gifting jewelry during that too, I think.

A lot of places celebrated spawndays--birthdays, as they're called here. Blackrock didn't tend to. We never had a lot of holidays, so most of my experience with them comes from Katana.
