「𝔟𝔞𝔫𝔤 𝔟𝔞𝔫𝔤!」- Old twigs crunched under boots as he made his way back through the brambles and growth. Everything about him was dirty by now. His hair had grown out, matted and oily. He had never really been capable of growing a proper beard, but the stubble was there - just as greasy as his hair. His cheeks were sunken, eyes lined by deep bags.
The red coat was blotched with stains of grass and dirt.
One arm was cupped close to his chest with berries he had managed to pick. It was better than nothing. He didn't want to go into the city again... Maybe he could sneak things from the farms and make it up later...
Then he swung around at another noise from somewhere, wings flaring out defensively - a movement he couldn't control.
