I swear this isn't becoming a makeup blog, but AHHHH I found a replacement for my ancient Smashbox eyeshadow trio that exploded all over my bag a few years ago. AND it's hypoallergenic. AND at a Walgreen's near me. And just in time for costume season!

It's been hard to find a truly brown brown eyeshadow palette (granted...I haven't tried very hard and my budget is like $10). So many have either red or grayish tones to them or very subtle "neutral" gradient in the colors, but that area of my face skews very dramatic and cooler in tone, so it just looks silly. I need Dutch-processed cocoa, not Swiss Miss, lol.

Anyway, feeling much more prepared for doing Princess Leia makeup next week! (Though the eyeliner...that's still going to be rough. And I'm sorry, but you cannot pay me to do my waterline. I get styes if I so much as look at my waterline wrong.)
