Living in a red state sucks. You really get lumped in with all the red voters, when in fact you are definitely not. Our major cities all vote blue, I'm pretty sure about half of our Appalachian voters vote blue, especially around Pikeville. Our governor is the sweetest lil son of a preacher Democrat (we love u Andy).
And the people giving Kentucky shit for voting for Trump and therefore undeserving of federal aid for the flooding? Fuck you. Regardless of how you vote you don't deserve this kind of suffering, our mountains are already so destitute and they're still recovering from the last floods. And now we're sub freezing for the rest of the week with half a foot of snow coming. These people, these fellow humans will suffer.
Especially in these shit ass times, show some humility and kindness.
