hi just w/r/t your post about eye shadows, olive skin ppl often like warmer toned (more orange-y) eyeshadows bc the warm colours compliment the undertone of their skin. As an added bonus, blue eyes look amazing w/ orange-y eyeshadow b/c it creates contrast! i would probably go for the full exposure palette, partially b/c its more wearable everyday, but you also know your sister's style better than me !! hope it goes well x
thanks so much !! i went to the mall and entered a time loop in macy’s and sephora and touched so many things i actually just ended up ordering her the tartelette online because i think it will match her everyday sweet style the most. she did ask me for a “basic eyeshadow palette” and i wanted to get her something high quality & pretty that she could use for looks to wear to school so overall i think it’s a good choice!! she wears a lot of pastel pinks, purples and creams and while i think she would look great with orange or slate grey shadow i don’t think she’ll wear them unfortunately. i wasn’t looking at it because it was all matte but i had $15 off $50 at Sephora and then a $50 giftcard (that she gave me for my birthday this summer, oops) so it worked out to under $40 which was my target anyway. so nice !! that’s my whole family set. i’m so excited i’ve never enjoyed gift giving before this year but i feel really happy with my presents and i think they’re going to like them :o)
