it’s just past midnight when they enter their brother’s room, immediately draping themselves across shaun’s bed. “ do you know what day it is? ” stiles says, grinning all the while. “ your birthday -- our birthday. we need to go do something, so come on, let’s go. are you dressed? cancel whatever plans you’ve got; it’s just us tonight. ” assuming shaun isn’t actually asleep or something, they’re pretty sure this will work.
