So most people know that autism often comes with sensory processing disorder and that we can be more sensitive to sound, noise, and texture etc and some people also know that it can also be less sensitive
But i feel like most people don’t realise that it’s more than just the 5 senses they teach you when you’re little
That light perception is its own sense, balance, hunger and fullness, which way up you are and proprioception (your awareness of the location your own body like being able to touch your nose with eyes closed), etc, are all senses that can be effected
So I struggle to figure out how hungry I am which leads to both over and under eating
