I was reading a Facebook pleco group and pleco prices came up. Someone mentioned zebra plecos being mid-range so of course I asked what the most expensive pleco would be. Say hello to Hypostomus luteus, a pleco that can go for as high as $2500! (probably based on what phase it is, I have no idea, $1000 is still crazy expensive.) But is it more expensive than Panaque cochliodon? (Discussed in a previous post) I can’t find an answer for that yet.
