Would pre Kira Light fall in love with Misa?

…It is really difficult to imagine a situation where any variety of Light that is still IC would fall for Misa. They just don’t have anything in common and their personalities clash pretty badly. They don’t prioritize the same things, they don’t share any common interests, they have very different goals in life – like I just don’t see what they would connect over, or why Light would really feel compelled to spend time with Misa. The only reason Misa and Light are ever “together” (if you can call it that) in canon past Rem’s death, is because Misa has something she can actually offer Light. Misa has nothing to offer Pre-Kira Light or non-Kira Lights by way of interesting conversation or anything else so it just wouldn’t work out in my opinion.
