Hyrule Apocrypha: The Archive of the Sky Scholar

It's been a year in the making, but I can finally share a piece of fanart that I did for Hyrule Apocrypha! AKA ZeldaFicZine

Since this zine was made to focus more on short stories than artwork, I was asked to provide a painting to go with a Twilight Princess prompt, depicting "a glimpse into the archive of Shad, scholar in service to Queen Zelda". The fic was done in the form of an archivist's notes going over Shad's collection, which I thought was quite a fascinating angle to take, and a great opportunity for me to come to appreciate Shad as a character through painting him and figuring out all the little details I wanted to include on his desk~
