nhah yes i remember that one! so funny... i think of it now when i’m in america speaking to americans, but there i am the clueless one having VERY LIMITED knowledge of american stuff... when i first moved there i didn’t know where any states were except NY and CA. w/my accent that is not always candian-sounding, americans have been perplexed & just thought i was an out-of-it american glad u like my cancon, i gotta keep it up ;) haven’t seen slings and arrows! name doesn’t ring a bell. is that a 22mins thing??

tbh i had a lot of loud americans when i worked at stampede (lol) one year, but those are v specific americans who go to calgary to watch bb cattle die (here are my boring extreme dumb stampede thoughts)

I got some “haunted Canada” stamps heh heh heh and there are some wpg ghost ones I think! I can mail you a zine and use one if you want! I am traumatized sort of by stampede from living around it for part of my life, and working at it one summer in which I had terrible acne and had to wear jeans (only (or a long denim skirt, which I did not own), full length) in 35ºC + heat, sweating. Then crying on lunchbreaks either too hot & sweaty, or after being chastised by old women for having such terrible acne. But anyway, one day I will visit Winnipeg. Yes, in Calgary! I am in Calgary rn! ;)  Didn’t know that about Winnipeg, and I haven’t even been there. I need to go. Now I am re-reading the “is calgary energy a big thing in nyc right now” and I just imagine a cowboy phase in nyc, though that is mostly calgary’s top layer / oil enthusiasts.
