Bruce would do with a journey with not a lover not a robin but his friend's child who's half alien and wouldn't really need protection idk about jon exactly but it could be any meta child like belly watson or even young wally. Bear with me he has to not have a parental nor mentor relationship to them. The space journey would be more like stuck in another plane. But it has to be on his own conviction also it serves a purpose.
So maybe him and jon crossing planets looking for clark smth smth the bond and insight would be refreshing so Bruce breaks free and is back for his old whimsy self?
