The clock signalled 11:30 pm on a Saturday night. Although this hour was nowhere near your bedtime, you still somehow found yourself in your bed that very day.
You were sat on the left side, changed into your pajamas, long and silky locks blow dried with an accomplished night time skincare routine as you scrolled through your feed. You made yourself comfortable and adjusted to perfectly complement your posture with the velvet, beige coloured headboard. Keeping away from the electronics and holding a piece of literature would have suited the aesthetic a bit better, but it was hard to let go of some habits, no matter how dangerous they were.
To your right was your boyfriend, sitting diagonally away from you with his sight facing the wall. The typical night like this would involve him and you doing something interesting, watching movie, baking, cuddling, stuffing your stomachs with leftovers or hell not, making love but it was a different story today. Haechan was mad at you.
It had been three hours since he last talked to you. All of your attempts to initiate a conversation were blandly being ignored. It wasn’t a matter of worry to you, you knew exactly what the root cause of this was. After all, you had been together since high school.
Sometimes you still sit and reminisce about those days, like a grandma who would tell stories of all the love affairs and boyish crushes she had in her youth. You still were rather young to reach that stage, but the memories of your high school love would always remain special to you. It was a flex, ninety percent of the students did not end up with it even after all the ‘love you forevers’, but you did.
You shake your head as you come back to reality- your high school love was still mad at you, sitting on the other edge of the bed. "Hyuck?" you called his name knowing that there was never a chance that he would ignore this nickname and answer immediately like a roll-call. "Hyuck are you mad at me?" You tried once more and before giving up on not receiving any response.
If it weren’t for two things, he would not have been like this: you defeating him ruthlessly at PlayStation football, and secondly, his sexy friend Jeno acing at the games you played, earning a few praises from you.
For Haechan, the PlayStation was more than just a method to pass the time or unwind; it was a matter of pride that he would never forsake. This was not the first time he had lost to you, but losing in front of a bunch of mates after bragging about his skills was a different matter altogether.
"Woah, I never knew you were this good, Jeno!", "Goddamn you broke the highest score!" and maybe a little chit-chat were all you had to offer. No, Haechan was never the type to get upset at you for a reason this pathetic, but you see, no one wants to watch their lover cheering for their friend instead of a friend - particularly when they're already having a horrible day.
The activity on the other side drew your attention right away. It was Haechan, who had been attempting to change into his night attire. Of course, he wouldn't sleep shirtless today; it was just another adorable way for him to express that he was upset.
You watched him as he struggled, trying his best to get his head out of the neck hole. That’s what being drunk did to him. What would this man do without you?
"Need help getting out of those clothes?" You offered him help, still awaiting a response.
That was enough; you needed to take command of the situation. You thumped your feet to reach him and met his gaze as you rose from the cushioned back and mattress. He made eye contact for a fraction of a second before shifting his focus to something else.
"Hyuk, look at me." You screamed at him, now infuriated, like a mother trailing after her toddler for an hour or two to put it to sleep. At times like these, Haechan would be no less than a toddler.
You let out a sigh as you held his arms. "Lee Haechan stop acting like a five year old!" You taunted, helping him to finally get his head out of the clothing followed by his arms, leaving his upper body bare.
"Not even going to look at me, are you?" You questioned him. Noticing his dazzling dark brown eyes, still away from you. Yeah, it was not the best time for it, but he looked hot. His unkempt dark hair, with its natural curls, complemented his illuminated, caramel-toned skin perfectly. To say the least, this view was enticing.
You then take a glance at his face, pouty like a puppy. He looked like a baby bear that has been refused cuddles, slouching with his arms crossed around his torso.
You were well aware that he was giving you the silent treatment, and you intended to take advantage of it. You begin by gently stroking your fingertips across his soft skin, from the back of his ears to his collar. Even if he refused, he would at the very least say something.
Just as you expected, he didn’t. You knew. He was waiting for you to come and make up to him. The touching now got more intense as you started running your fingers through his hair and drew yourself closer. Haechan on the other hand, remained in the same position as before, with the exception of his stare. He was now looking at you, finally.
You were straddling his lap less than a minute later as he now gripped you by the waist, your lips still glued to his, never separating. That was a magical moment, if not more.
You pull out as you try to blurt out words, barely managing to catch your breath. "Do I suppose we are back to normal now?" You inquire. Haechan glides his hand over your arm, his dark brown, beady eyes straight up meeting yours as he pouts again, this time only to unleash the cute devil inside of him. "Not like I was mad at you."

Summary: It was endlessly amusing to Sanghyuk that his son had the audacity to be possessive over his wife--obviously, she belonged to him.
A/N: So... Dad!Hyuk fic happened to, so maybe Dad!Jaehwan and Dad!Wonshik will also happen, IDK.

"Noona, I'm home." Sanghyuk padded into the living room where his wife watched TV while their 18-month old son was zipping around in his toy car.
"Hyogi!" Mari stood on the couch to easily kiss him without getting a crick in her neck. "How was rehearsal?"
"Good. But I missed you." He settled next to her on the couch. "Appa also missed you, buddy. I got your favorite." Sanghyuk opened a bulging paper bag and pulled out a taiyaki.
Minhyuk hesitated, glancing longingly from the pastry to Sanghyuk. After much deliberation, the child tore his glance away and continued driving in his car.
Seeing Sanghyuk pout, Mari snickered and snatched the paper bag from his hands. Tearing open one of the steaming fish-shaped pastries, she waved it enticingly. "Minhyukkie..."
Minhyuk stopped his baby car beside her to devour the taiyaki half in a few big bites.
Sanghyuk scoffed, but his lips curled into a smile. "So that's how it is, huh. You can even ignore Appa bringing food now, but you'll eat it if Eomma feeds you."
With his mouth still full, Minhyuk gave Mari a cat-like grin that mirrored Sanghyuk's before zooming off.
"It's unfair." Sanghyuk whined, leaning against his wife with an arm around her shoulders. "I helped make him too, why does he treat me this way?"
"It's because you treat him that way."
"What way?"
Mari gave him a withering look. "Don't act innocent, Han Sanghyuk. You peeve him on purpose."
He pulled her closer, pushing his lips out. "What do you mean, noona? I wouldn't do that to our son." His hand slid from between her shoulder blades to just above the curve of her bum.
She cocked an eyebrow. "Where do you think you're touching?" She reached behind to peel his hand off but he only slid it lower.
His voice dropped to a whisper. "You know noona, it has been a while..."
"It hasn't even been a week," she retorted, a little high-pitched as she shivered under his touch.
"Five days!" He shook his head. "This is where trouble starts you know, a couple has kids, gets too busy to get busy, they start drifting apart--"
"Are you already giving a terminal diagnosis to this marriage?"
He kissed her ear. "Noona, I'm doing my best for this marriage--ow!" Sanghyuk grabbed his leg.
Minhyuk backed away, preparing to ram his car against Sanghyuk's leg again.
One corner of Sanghyuk's mouth quirked mischievously. He lifted his legs on the couch, sitting on them. "What are you going to do now, buddy?"
With a huff, Minhyuk clambered out of the car and climbed the couch, trying to squeeze between them.
"Is our Minhyuk getting jealous?" Sanghyuk easily blocked him with an arm and kissed Mari full on the mouth. Minhyuk let out a bloodthirsty scream.
Mari reached for the baby. "Minhyukkie, Appa's just teasing--"
"No, I'm not! I'm totally serious." Laughing, Sanghyuk hugged her, pinning her arms to her sides before she could embrace the child.
"Mine!" Minhyuk growled, tugging at his father's arms.
Sanghyuk snorted. "What are you talking about, buddy? She was mine first. How do you think you were born?"
Minhyuk looked like he was going to injure himself throwing himself at Sanghyuk, so the latter scooped up Mari, bridal-style, and stood up. "Buddy, you gotta cool off, alright?"
"Han Sanghyuk, you're such a child!" Mari scolded, turning her head away when he attempted to kiss her again.
"Then that makes you a naughty woman, doing such things with a child." He smirked.
She put a hand over his mouth before he could kiss her. "Gross. That's gross, Hyogi. Whatever I was feeling down there... it's gone now."
"But noona--!"
"Did you really have to remind me why I hesitated to date you, little Hyogi?"
"Noona, I'm a man now." he asserted, his voice husky. He held her gaze with heavy-lidded eyes for a couple of moments before asking uncertainly: "Did that work?"
"No," she said, only half-fibbing.
"Damn--oww!" He yelped as his leg was struck again, nearly dropping her. "Minhyukkie, you're just way too..." He stopped, seeing the little boy swipe at tear-filled eyes.
He placed Mari on the couch and kneeled beside Minhyuk, patting his head. "Did Appa go too far? I'm sorry, buddy." Minhyuk sobbed in earnest, letting Sanghyuk envelop him in a hug. "Appa needs to learn other ways of playing and showing you love."
"Now why can't the two of you be always like this?" Mari quipped, enjoying the sight of her child and childish husband being at peace for once.
Before Sanghyuk could reply, Mari's phone rang. "Hello? Geonil-sunbae! Yeah, I forwarded the initial plan to the management..." She talked to him for a several minutes about a work project. When she ended the call, both Sanghyuk and Minhyuk were sitting cross-legged on the floor, staring at her with their wide-set eyes glinting sharply. "Yes, boys?"
Sanghyuk shook his head. "This Geonil-sunbae… does he know you're married?"
"Of course he does, you know he came to our wedding." She chuckled as he continued to glare. "And you know he's married too."
He crossed his arms over his chest. "But that Geonil-sunbae is obviously trying to make you his work wife."
She stopped gawking at his arms straining against his sweater. "Don't be ridiculous."
"You know I'm right. Why does he even call you after hours? He's the ridiculous one. Hmph!" He turned his chin up.
"Hmph!" Minhyuk echoed.
"See, our son agrees with me." Sanghyuk tilted his head at Minhyuk. "Yes~?"
"Yes~!" Minhyuk tilted his head in response.
Mari tried to keep a stern face but ended up bursting into laughter. "I can't even pretend to be mad at the two of you, you're both too cute!"
"Cute? Are you making fun of us? Get her!" At Sanghyuk's signal, Minhyuk jumped into her arms and peppered her face with kisses, just as Sanghyuk trapped her in a bearhug. "Noona, your ass belongs to the Han men, you got that?"
"I got it!" she squealed, breathless with laughter.
You didn’t plan on listening in on Hyuk and Jaehwan’s conversation - you truly didn’t. But when you catch your name being whispered between them, you stop dead in your tracks, hand on the doorknob.
Your whole body seems frozen and you're unable to react and hide, when the door opens in front of you, Hyuk standing in the doorway and looking over his shoulder to say something else to Jaehwan. He almost walks into you and yelps, head whipping around to face you, while you try to keep your balance. Hyuk reflexively stretches out one hand to steady you, finally realizing who’s right in front of him.
Immediately, he freezes as well. “I… How much did you hear?”, he finally asks when he takes in your blush and slightly nervous expression.
You gnaw on your lower lip, quickly breaking into a small smile. “Enough to finally gather the courage to ask you out on a date.”, you answer and Hyuk raises both eyebrows in surprise, before mirroring your own happy expression.
Summary: How were you supposed to know that the CF shoot your ex invited you to was the same shoot Hyuk was promoting? You couldn’t. There was no way you could have known. It’s a situation right out of a romance drama. ...And yet here you are.
Words: 3.6k
Warnings: possessiveness, making out
*
So here’s the situation:
You’re on the set of a CF shoot for some soft drink. On your left, Hyuk stands. He’s the celeb face for the product. On your right, it’s good ol’ Jinseok, your ex-boyfriend from over a year ago. He’s an extra in the shoot.
You’re an extra too, because Jinseok called you up that morning and begged you to come in last-minute to replace the partner who bailed on him for a shoot. And hey, the two of you had parted reasonably amicably, you knew how rare of a chance this was, and Hyuk had plans anyway.
How were you supposed to know that his plans were the same shoot that Jinseok was in? How were you supposed to know that your roles as extras were to play one of the three lovey-dovey couples brought closer together, literally, by the drink Hyuk was promoting?
You couldn’t. There was no way you could have known. It’s a situation right out of a romance drama.
And yet here you are, standing under bright lights, listening to Hyuk try and convince the director that you and Jinseok shouldn’t kiss.
At least, you think to yourself, he doesn’t know that Jinseok’s my ex. Yet. You’ll tell Hyuk afterward, of course. When he's nowhere near Jinseok.
“Wouldn’t it seem over-the-top if the two of them kissed right after receiving the drink?” Hyuk’s arguing. “It’s not realistic.”
“I hear you, Hyuk-ssi,” says the director placatingly. “We are going for a fantasy-like atmosphere, though, so you don’t need to worry about that aspect—”
“But the company is aiming for a younger audience, right?” Hyuk steamrolls right on. “It’ll be a turn-off for them to see a kiss out of the blue.”
As the poor director takes a calming breath before responding, Hyuk darts a side-glance at you. Quickly, you point your gaze the other way. Though you can obviously see why he’s not interested in having his girlfriend kiss some other guy, you’re getting nervous about his behaviour. People are going to start suspecting something; you can see the other two extra couples glancing over.
Your eyes meet Jinseok’s, and he leans in and speaks in an undertone: “Y/N-ah. I think he’s complaining because we don’t look comfortable enough together before we kiss.”
Um. “Really? I’m not sure I got that sense,” you say carefully, keeping your voice low.
“Trust me.” Jinseok nods. “We have to look natural enough to blend right into the background. There’s no room for awkwardness.”
“...If you say so.”
“I do.” He pats your shoulder, a familiar patronizing gesture that you always disliked, and repeats, “Trust me.”
You look away so he won’t see you rolling your eyes, and see Hyuk staring at the two of you.
More like glaring, actually. His whole body has stiffened up, and his gaze is directed a little to your right. You look to see the offending target: Jinseok’s hand on your shoulder. Oh.
To mitigate any drastic action on Hyuk’s part, you pretend to cough a little and use the movement to shrug Jinseok’s hand away. When you straighten, though, Jinseok pats your back, asks if you’re all right, and then keeps his hand there. Seriously?
“...so I appreciate your creative input, Hyuk-ssi, but—ah, Hyuk-ssi?”
At the director’s questioning tone, you look round to see Hyuk marching away from him and almost straight toward you. “Can we take a five-minute break?” he tosses over his shoulder, and doesn’t even wait for the director to respond. He brushes by you, whispers, “Follow me. Change room,” and then strides right off the set.
Welp.
The director’s left blinking at the air, nonplussed, while Jinseok shakes his head. “Idol actors,” he says knowingly. “Consistency is hard for them.”
“So… are we taking a break?” you check with him.
Jinseok gestures at the crew around you, who have all paused their activities. “We can’t do anything without the star.”
“I see.” You hesitate. “Then, I’m just going to check my phone real quick,” you say, and speed off toward the dressing rooms.
There’s a sign right outside that says “Closed for maintenance”. You almost turn around, but then you realize that Hyuk is totally the type to haul that sign out just so he can have the space to himself. So you edge inside, hoping nobody sees you.
There’s Hyuk, pacing up and down the long mirrored counter. He spins around as you enter, face still dark. “Noona,” he says. That one word is loaded with angst already.
“Hyuk.” You scurry further inside and launch into the explanation you’ve prepared. “Hey, look, I had no idea this was going to be your shoot, seriously. Jinseok just called last-minute and said they needed an extra—”
“Jinseok?” He latches onto the name as he moves through the scattered chairs toward you. “That dude you’re acting with? You know him?”
“Well, yeah.” You work up a smile to get him into a more amiable frame of mind. “How else would I get a gig like this? Working with the famous Hyuk of Vixx?”
Hyuk scowls and shoves another chair out of his way. “Is that why he’s being so friendly with you?”
“He’s acting. Just like you are, right?” You try once more to deter his mood. “When you think about it, it’s kinda fun. What are the chances that you and I would be in the same commercial?”
By this point he’s close enough that you have to tilt your head up, and it’s clear that your efforts to appease him aren’t working.
“I don’t think it’s fun that you’re pretending to be another man’s girlfriend.” He walks you backward step by step until your butt hits the counter.
“I had no idea we’d be acting as a couple, honestly.”
He leans in, plants his hands on the counter on either side of you and just stares.
You squirm back from his intense gaze. “Don’t be like this, Hyuk, if someone catches us they’ll talk—”
“Y/N-ah?”
Both of you jump.
You peer around Hyuk and, to your horror, there’s Jinseok goggling at you from the entrance of the dressing room. Quickly you lunge out of Hyuk’s arms and distance yourself, even though you know it’s too late.
“What’s going on?” Jinseok demands, hurrying toward you with a frown. “Are you okay, Y/N-ah?”
“Yeah, yeah, I’m fine—”
But he comes barrelling into your space, clasps your shoulder and starts looking you over as if for injuries. “Did he do something to you?” he asks, not very quietly.
You cringe, because oh boy is Hyuk going to get offended at that. “No, Jinseok-ah, he didn’t—”
“Excuse me.” Here he comes. “We were talking.” Hyuk takes your wrist, hauls you back toward him and pins his gaze on Jinseok. “And we weren’t finished.”
Jinseok clears his throat and straightens. “Hm. Well. I’m just looking out for Y/N-ah, you understand.”
“No,” Hyuk says baldly. “I don’t understand why you need to look out for her.”
Cringe cringe cringe. You can’t even signal to Hyuk to tone it way down, because that’ll make Jinseok suspicious too.
Jinseok looks taken aback by how confrontational Hyuk is being, and you honestly can’t blame him. “She’s my dongsaeng.”
“Your dongsaeng.”
“And my ex-girlfriend. Not that it’s any of your business.”
Slowly, slowly, Hyuk swivels his head to look at you.
You gulp at the outrage that’s forming on his face. You’d really been hoping to keep that fact on the down-low until the shoot was over.
“He’s your ex-boyfriend?” he asks you, enunciating carefully.
“An old ex-boyfriend,” you manage to squeak out.
“Old?” Jinseok frowns.
Hyuk’s looking very pissed. “One of those exes that you called oppa?” He drops his tone at the last word.
Oh my God. “Is that really the point right now?” You tug your wrist against his grip.
He lets go only so he can slide his entire arm around your shoulders and squash you to his side. “Why does he still have your contact info?” he says, voice dropping even lower.
“I don’t know, ask him. I deleted his, obviously,” you add hastily. “A long time ago.”
“Y/N-ah.” Jinseok’s tone is pure bemusement at this point. “What’s going on?”
Before you can deflect, Hyuk turns back to Jinseok and demands, “Take out your phone.”
“Huh??? What?”
“Take out your phone,” Hyuk repeats.
“What do you want with it?” Jinseok asks warily.
“Show me your contacts.”
“Why?” Jinseok asks, eyebrows diving. “Why do you need to see who I know?”
“I don’t care who you know. I just need you to delete Y/N-noona’s contact information. Right now.”
“Hyuk, seriously?” You squirm in his hold.
“What’s it to you?” Jinseok doesn’t take out his phone.
“What’s it to me?” Hyuk scoffs. “Noona, tell him.”
“Hyuk-ah, let’s talk about this later, okay—”
“If Y/N’s your noona,” Jinseok notes, “I’m older than you.”
Hyuk glares. “So?”
“So, maybe you shouldn’t be throwing banmal around.”
Count on Jinseok to focus on the wrong things at the wrong time, seriously. “Well everyone, I’m pretty sure five minutes is over, so—” You push at Hyuk’s forearm, which is close to crushing your windpipe. “—why don’t we go back to the set first and talk later?”
“Jinseok-ssi has to delete your contact info first.” Somehow Hyuk makes his jondaemal sound extra snide.
“Why should I??”
“Look, Hyuk-ah, I’ll just change my number, okay?” You switch from pushing to swatting.
“Y/N-ah,” Jinseok says with a frown, “you don’t have to do that, why would you—”
“Because I’m her boyfriend!” Hyuk bursts out.
In the ringing silence that follows his proclamation, you suddenly notice the director standing in the entrance of the dressing room, mouth hanging half-open.
“Director—” You try to bow on instinct, but Hyuk’s arm catches you and you nearly choke before you manage to extricate yourself.
“What? Oh.” Hyuk spots him too, and he releases you.
Jinseok turns last. “Oh—Director—hello.”
“We were just coming back to the set,” you say hastily, sidling away from Hyuk. You’re not sure how much the director heard; time to go into damage control mode.
“Right.” Jinseok clears his throat, shoots Hyuk a side-glance and then turns to you. “Y/N-ah, let’s go.”
Hyuk makes a sound that’s nearly a growl, grabs your shoulders with both hands and yanks you back a foot as though you weigh nothing. “She’s not going with you.”
Your back is now plastered to Hyuk’s chest; he’s got an arm wrapped possessively just under your breasts. If the director was uncertain about your relationship before, he probably isn’t anymore. So much for damage control.
“Hyuk-ssi—!” You pry his arm away, then face the director and bow again. “Director-nim, I’m so sorry for the delay. And for all… this.”
“Right,” says the director. It’s the first word he’s said since entering the room, and his tone matches his sky-high eyebrows.
“It isn’t her fault,” Jinseok jumps in. “It’s her first time at a shoot, Director, I apologize for her inexperience.”
(Well, that’s not exactly flattering.)
“You wouldn’t have to apologize if you hadn’t asked her to come,” Hyuk snips.
Jinseok turns to glare at Hyuk; he hates when others make him look bad in front of higher-ups. “I’ll keep that in mind, Hyuk-ssi.”
While the two of them are glaring at each other, you take the chance to back away and beeline for the exit. “I’ll see you on the set, then, Jinseok-ssi, Hyuk-ssi, Director-nim,” you say loudly, and flee the room.
*
After that, the shoot rolls on non-stop, and you don’t get the chance to talk to either of them. Every time there’s the smallest break, Hyuk’s standing nearby talking loudly with the make-up noonas or the props guy or whoever else he can drag over so that you and Jinseok aren’t alone. Meanwhile, Jinseok’s pointed looks of disdain grow more and more pronounced as the time passes, and you just know that he’s going to lecture you about this whole situation the first opportunity he gets.
The director, for his part, seems focused on wrapping this whole thing up as fast as he can. He barks orders left and right, takes no shit from Hyuk or anyone else, and avoids addressing you directly at all. He agrees tersely with Hyuk’s suggestion to scale up the intimacy per couple, starting with you and Jinseok at the very beginning of the scale, which means all you have to do is stare into Jinseok’s eyes and smile.
Under the sheer force of the director’s will, Hyuk finishes the rest of his scenes mostly without a hitch, and you’re finally freed from the cold metal patio chair around 7 PM when the director calls the final cut.
“We’re finished here,” is all he says before heading straight to the crew’s office, looking absolutely done with everyone.
Noise and chatter spread as the crew starts disassembling equipment, taking down the set and putting away materials. You stand and stretch, feeling your muscles ache from being seated for so long.
Opposite you, Jinseok stands as well. “Y/N-ah,” he starts.
“Jinseok,” you cut him off. “I did this as a favour to you, but let’s not repeat it again, okay?”
He frowns. “I’m not planning to. But you should really think hard about this relationship, Y/N-ah. It’s not right—”
“And you probably shouldn’t contact me in the future,” you interject again before he can really get going. “Let’s just make a clean break of it.”
“Look, I’m not interested in hanging on to you or anything,” he defends himself. “I’m just looking out for you, this kind of relationship isn’t healthy.”
“You know what isn’t healthy?” Hyuk plants himself beside you, keeping enough distance so as not to draw attention. “Calling up your ex-girlfriend a year after you’ve broken up to ask her to a CF shoot together.”
Jinseok huffs. “It was a last-minute, urgent request.”
“And you’re not going to ask her anymore in the future,” Hyuk replies. “Because you’re going to delete her contact information.”
Scoffing again, Jinseok looks at you. “Y/N-ah, you really want a controlling guy like this? Someone you have to change your number for?”
Hyuk bristles, but you take charge. “I’m not changing his number because of him,” you state. “I’m changing my number because of you.”
“Excuse me?”
“Let’s make a clean break,” you repeat, and then stride away.
You manage to gather your things and leave the filming area without running into either of them again. Jinseok’s pride is hopefully wounded enough that he won’t bother you anymore, and who knows what Hyuk has next on his schedule.
You’re about to head outside to get in line for a taxi when someone grasps your arm. “What—”
“It’s me.” Hyuk’s face is wrapped up in a black scarf, scant protection from being recognized as he leads you back inside. He pulls you down one hall and then another, and finally herds you into a single-stall bathroom.
“Hyuk, seriously?” You shake free and stare around the beige tiled walls. “We’re going to talk here?”
Hyuk unwraps his scarf, drapes it over the doorknob and conveniently takes the opportunity to lock the door. When he turns back around, you can almost hear the emotions roiling in him.
“Noona, tell me honestly.” He walks forward into your space as if he doesn’t even notice how he’s twenty centimetres taller than you and a lot broader, too, and stares down at you like he’s trying to read all your secrets. “Are you getting back together with your ex?”
You splutter out a laugh. “What? No, no way.”
“Then why is he still calling you to go to photoshoots with him, huh?”
“I don’t know, Hyuk-ah.”
Hyuk’s disgruntled expression tells you he’s not taking that for an answer.
“I mean, my best guess is that he was going to be kicked out of this shoot if he didn’t have a partner. So he called up all the women he knew.”
“That’s not how being an extra works.”
You hold up your palms. “Hey, I don’t know how any of this works. I was just trying to help him out.”
“Don’t.” The one word is loaded with feeling.
“I won’t anymore. Like I said, I’ll change my number.” You try a gentle, reassuring pat on his arms. “It’s not like I want to keep in touch with him, okay?”
He stares at you some more, then abruptly steps in and folds his arms around you. You’re crushed into him for the third time that day; it’s the first time you get to enjoy it. With a sigh, you reach your arms around him in return.
“Okay, Hyuk-ah?” You stroke your hands over his back.
“Okay.” The surliness is almost all gone from his voice; it’s uncertainty that remains. He eases you back, brushes your hair from your face. “Noona.”
“What?” You reach up and take his hand in yours.
“Am I really being controlling?”
There’s a tiny waver in his voice that makes you stretch up to peck him on the lips. “No, Hyuk-ah.” He lowers his head eagerly to meet your kiss. “Maybe a little too jealous, yeah. But not controlling.” You settle back down on your heels and give him a cheeky smile. “It’s not like I’d let you control me.”
“You don’t have to change your number.” He’s still searching your face, looking for confirmation of your words.
You nod. “I’ll decide later, okay? In the meantime, I don’t think Jinseok’s going to be reaching out anytime soon.”
At the name, the grouchiness returns to Hyuk’s face. He reaches out to take you in his arms again and grumble. “And I don’t think not wanting to see your girlfriend kiss another man is being too jealous.”
“I mean, I get it, but also, it’s acting. You act all the time.”
“I don’t have a hundred ex-oppas inviting me to romantic photoshoots.”
You muffle a laugh in his shirt. “I don’t have a hundred of them either.”
Hyuk pulls back, a frown on his face. “Then how many?”
“Ah—” Faced with the unexpected question, you stall. “It doesn’t matter, does it?”
He struggles with that for a moment. “I guess not,” he says reluctantly. “But nobody else better come calling.”
“Don’t worry, it’s not going to happen.”
“I never thought you calling me oppa was going to happen,” Hyuk shoots back, “but it did.”
You stifle your chuckle and lean back against the counter, his hands trailing over your hips. “Hyuk-ah. I already promised I won’t ever say it again to you. And I won’t.”
“But you said it to other people.” He takes a step forward, sliding a leg between yours, and you straighten instinctively in self-defence. “You said it to him.”
“I won’t anymore.” You squirm a little as he casually leans his weight on his leg, pushing his thigh into you. “Okay? Never again.”
“Never,” he repeats, voice dipping. He places a hand against the counter beside you and leans in some more.
“Hyuk-ah—” You lift on your tiptoes to avoid the friction and cast about for some topic that will stop the impending makeout session he apparently has in mind. “Hey, what are we going to do about the director? He knows about our relationship now. Isn’t your manager going to flip?”
“Manager-hyung already talked to him.” Hyuk’s looking at your mouth.
“Oh, really? Wow, well, that was fast acting on his part,” you say quickly. “Then, I guess we can go home now, right? Unless you have something else to do here?”
“Yes,” he murmurs, “you.”
Then he kisses you, which saves you from having to think up a response to that. You probably wouldn’t be coherent anyway, not with his thick thigh pressing into your groin and his body braced over you and his hand cupping your jaw so he can kiss you and kiss you.
Your breath escapes in a pant when he releases your lips after several long seconds. “Hyuk-ah.”
“Mine.” The word slips out a bit roughly, and he kisses you right after, hot and intense. “It’s mine.” He kisses you again.
“What? What is?” Your head is spinning, but you know you’re not an it. Hyuk’s not the type to go all caveman over you, anyway.
“This.” He nips at your mouth this time, teeth leaving a tender sting behind. “Your kiss. Mine mine mine mine.” He punctuates his words with another devouring kiss.
...Okay. Maybe he has a little caveman in him.
“Not his.” Hyuk draws back, and your eyes flutter open to find him staring at you with his burning gaze. “The whole time Director was trying to make you kiss him… that’s what I was thinking. Not his.”
“Um.” You gulp in some air. “Well. We’re in agreement on that.”
“But you were going to anyway.”
“It’s not like I wanted to, okay.”
“I know.” He leans in again to hover his mouth over yours. “But you were going to.”
“But… I didn’t.” Your eyes close instinctively. It’s almost too overpowering, being surrounded by him, feeling so wrapped up and caught in the rushes of emotion that he triggers in you, these feelings you didn’t know existed.
“Yeah. You know why?”
With effort, you open your eyes again. He’s looking at you like you have the stars in your eyes, like you have his song in your soul, he’s looking at you like he’s in love.
“Because you’re mine,” he breathes, and then presses the words into your mouth, a promise.
A/N: This will be the last part of my fic! Yay! I took forever to write it because I’m a lazy piece of crap. And I will never learn. Anyways, I hope everyone enjoys the ending ( @slightlydepressing enjoyed so I am content :D), I have fun writing it and sad (relieved) the fic has come to an end (I’m like TT ahahahhahahahahahha). Until next time I guess, BYEEEE!
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4
The next day came much quicker than Hyuk had anticipated. Throughout breakfast and the drive to Jelpi, Hyuk did his best to keep calm. He acted as if he was tired and made sure no one bothered him as he tried to fake sleep in the car.
*Solo. Nashiko. Solo. Nashiko. What if I mess up? She’s gonna think the worst of me. I can’t freeze like yesterday, I looked so stupid* thought Hyuk. All the worst cased scenarios played in his head; all ending with Nashiko laughing at him and walking away.
“Hyuk - ah, Hyukkie… HAN SANGHYUK IF YOU DONT WAKE UP OR SO HELP ME!” roared N. Hyuk woke up with a fright but quickly composed himself.
“I’m awake, I’m awake!” He moaned as he dragged himself out the car. It was obvious that Hyuk was nervous since he was rather quiet.
“What’s up with him?” Mouthed Hongbin.
“Not sure, you think N hyung annoyed him too much” Ravi mouthed back. Ken saw the two conversing and decided to intervene.
“Hyukkie, come to the restroom with me”
“What, why? Go by yourself hyung”
“Pwease, I watched a scary film last night about a dead girl who haunts the restrooms” Ken whined.
“Aigooo Ken, are you sure you weren't watching Harry Potter? The part with Moaning Murtle?” N teased, making the members laugh.
“Ehhh, hyung please” Ken replied.
Before Hyuk could say anything back, Ken was already pushing him towards the restroom. Once they inside Ken looked around, opening every cubicle.
“Hyung, I didn’t know you were this scared.” Hyuk said as he watched his hyung’s actions.
“Okay, no one is here.” Ken turned towards Hyuk and carried on, “Hyuk… are you okay?” He asked with concern in his voice.
“Of course, why wouldn’t I be?” Hyuk stated. Ken looked at him dead in the eyes, making him feel uncomfortable.
“You’re not, I can tell. Frankly, all of us could tell. Hongbin and Ravi were questioning your sudden silence.”
Hyuk was surprised *Was I that obvious?*
“Hyuk, you need to calm down. Take a couple of breaths. Splash some water on your face to wake yourself up. Don’t worry so much, she’s not here to catch you out.” Ken consoled. Hyuk nodded and started feel less tense.
“Have fun lil bro, besides it’s your first solo stage. Make the most of it.” The two fist bumped and walked out with lighter hearts.
“Finally. Hyuk, we need to start on your solo stage.” Dance-Ssem said as he walked over and pulled Hyuk into position. Ken gave Hyuk a thumbs up and sat at the back to monitor him.
“Good morning Hyukkie~” greeted Nashiko from behind. Hyuk turned around to see the petite woman with her plum hair tied up in a simple ponytail.
“Morning…Nashiko” Hyuk replied.
“Yahh, did you just forget my name?” Nashiko asked in an annoyed tone. She hand her hands crossed over her chest and had a fake angry expression.
“Whaa? Forget your name? I would never” Hyuk said shaking his head.
Nashiko grinned and poked his arm, “Good because I would never forgive you if you did” She puffed.
*I can’t even get you out of my head, let alone forget your name* Hyuk thought to himself.
Dance-Ssem clapped his hands and began, “The song we are using is one that was chosen by Hyuk, which is ‘Call You Mine’ by Jeff Bernat”
The choreography involved many interactions between Nashiko and Hyuk. And everytime Hyuk had to hold her hand or slide his hand across her leg, he always asked if it was fine with her.
“Are you sure you’re sure you’re okay with it?”
“It’s fine Hyuk, trust me”
“… Are you sur-”
At this point Nashiko grabbed his face and insisted,
“For the umpteenth time Hyuk, it’s fine. Okay?”
With such close proximity to her face, all Hyuk could manage was a weak nod.
“Good. Now let’s not waste anymore time!” Nashiko said.
They practiced as much as they could to perfect the routine. Dance-Ssem and N were constantly checking, giving their input on how to make the dance become more seamless. Ken in the background made sure Hyuk didn’t become a blubbering mess, instead he started to dote on both Hyuk and Nashiko. Ravi and Hongbin joined to see how the solo stage was coming along and we’re impressed on how far the two have come.
But that didn’t stop the two from making sly comments here and there.
“Heol, they could be mistaken for a couple you know.” Hongbin whispered in low tone.
“Wahh, look at them toge- OW!” Ravi and Hongbin cried. Leo sneaked behind and slapped the two across the back of their heads. Along with N, Leo took care of Hyuk and Nashiko, keeping them hydrated and not overworked. He listened to what N was relaying and agreed with everything.
Time ticked away quickly and soon it was free time.
“That’s all for today people! You are free to leave this PRISON!” Exaggerated Dance-Ssem. The senior dancers said their goodbyes and left to go home, leaving VIXX and Nashiko.
“Aigooo, I think I worked too hard today. My back…” Ken complained while hunched over.
“Omomomo, Ahjumma let me help you” Hongbin offered and pushed him from behind.
“YAHHHHHH!” Ken shrieked in the highest note possible causing everyone to laugh.
“Stop it, I’m too tired to deal with you now. Let’s just go home” groaned Leo. As everyone was heading for the door, Hyuk stopped.
“You know what, I’m gonna stay back for a couple more hours. I want to perfect the routine” He explained. Nashiko raised her hand and nodded.
“Me too, me too. Ahh but Inguk oppa might not let me.”
“I won’t let you do what?” Inguk asked.
Nashiko was about to talk but N patted her on the shoulder and winked.
“I advised her and Hyuk to stay back a couple of hours to completely perfect the dance routine.” N told him.
“It’s too late fo-”
“This performance is essential for the concert. It showcases how much Hyuk improved and it will be Nashiko’s first solo here. I’m sure you can understand how much it means to them. You wouldn’t want they’re efforts to go to waste now would you?” N concluded while giving a piercing gaze. Inguk wavered slightly and looked at Nashiko. She had her puppy eyes face on hoping it would help her case.
“I’ll drive them home if that’ll make you feel better.” Ken suggested, “Now before you think I’m talking nonsense, I really am a good driver. The best out of all the members.” He beamed. Inguk looked at the rest of the members, who were all nodding in agreement. Inguk sighed in defeat,
“Fine, but you have to call me when you finish practice, leave the building and when you come close to home, understood?” Inguk instructed.
“Yes sir!” saluted Nashiko. Inguk pushed her forehead back while laughing and walked out with 4Vixx. As soon as they left, Ken told Hyuk and Nashiko that he’ll be in the next room practicing his solo for the concert.
“If you guys need anything or if you’re ready to go home, tell me okay?” Ken assured them. Both Hyuk and Nashiko nodded and waved to Ken.
Hyuk turned to Nashiko and gestured towards the middle of the practice room,
“Shall we begin?” He asked.
“Yes, we shall.” Nashiko said smiling as she took his hand.
Without the guidance of N and Dance-Ssem, the dance wasnt as smooth as they wanted it to be. Every time one of them messed up they would stop and discuss what went wrong. They would constantly monitor their performance with a camera and pick any small details. This went on for a while with no actual breaks. Half way through the dance Nashiko tripped and fell backwards with her eyes shut. Without thinking, Hyuk grabbed her arm, pulled her up towards himself. Their faces were only inches away from each other. Hyuk stared down at her face, her eyes closed shut as tightly as possible while biting her lip. As soon as she realised she was being held, Nashiko opened her eyes and found Hyuk looking down at her.
Hyuk gulped and managed to say, “Are you okay?”
Nashiko blushed furiously, “Uh huh.” She was pulled up by Hyuk, all while still holding onto his arms. “Thanks… for not letting me fall”
Hyuk gazed into Nashiko’s eyes, and finally smiled, “I’m glad my reflexes were quick enough to grab you, hah.” Nashiko chuckled and move her hands down into his. The two were stood in the middle of the practice room, as if time stood still with them. Hyuk pulled her hands above and placed them around his neck. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her in. Nashiko closed her eyes and leaned in. Hyuk smirked, purposely missing her lips and kissed her cheek.
Nashiko slapped him on the chest, “YAH! I was wai-”, Nashiko stopped mid sentence and covered her mouth. Hyuk laughed loudly, “Why, what did I do wrong? was I supposed to do it differently?”
“Yah yah, y-y-you know what you did wrong…” Nashiko voiced trailed off. Hyuk grinned and decided to tease her more.
“Aigoo, I don’t know what you’re taking about. Tell meee” He pestered. Nashiko glared at Hyuk. Hyuk was singing the words “I don’t know” until Nashiko pulled him down and pecked his lips. This time it was Hyuk’s turn to be surprised. He was frozen while Nashiko laughed and tugged his chin downwards,
“Shall we date?”
Without delay, Hyuk kissed her back. The kiss was longer, deeper and had more feeling. He pulled back and answered, “We shall.”
*********FOUR YEARS LATER*********
It was their wedding night, Hyuk was carrying Nashiko bridal style to their hotel room. Nashiko was stroking Hyuk’s hair while humming.
“So do you have any ideas what we’ll do tonight, Mrs Han?”
Nashiko hummed, “Hmmm, I have a few that I’ve been wanting to show you.”
They reached their hotel room at the end of the corridor. Hyuk took out the key card and swiped it across the door handle, *beep beep clack* and the door opened. He carefully placed Nashiko on the bed and stood back, taking a good, long look at his wife. He took off his blazer and began to undo his bow tie. Following suit, she took off her shoes and accessories. Sitting down next Nashiko, he looked into her eyes,
“Are you ready?” He asked.
Nashiko stared back and breathed, “Yep.“ Both leaned towards each other.
Hyuk grabbed for the big bowl of popcorn and Nashiko grabbed the Naruto DVDs.
“NARUTO MARATHON” they cried. Nashiko laughed hard and nearly fell off the bed. Hyuk, on the other hand, dropped backwards onto the bad holding his stomach from all the laughter.
“Ahahahahha, I expected nothing less from you! This is why I married you.” Hyuk declared, he got up and kissed Nashiko on forehead. “I mean, what else do people do on their wedding night”
“I know right!” Nashiko agreed as she leaned onto him. “Ahhh, Hyukkie… I love you.” She confessed.
“I love you too.”
You’re in the middle of being eaten out by Sanghyuk when it slips out.
“Ah, god, oppa—”
His tongue stops moving. Your eyes snap open. Oh, shit.
When you look down, Hyuk’s staring up at you, brows lowered, eyes narrowed. “…Noona.”
You’re in trouble.
“Don’t stop,” you try and urge him. Maybe if you just keep him going he’ll let it pass.
But he lifts his head, your wetness gleaming all over his mouth. Your hips instinctively rise to follow. Firmly, Hyuk places his hand over your sex and presses down—both pinning you in place and providing a sort of maddening in-between friction.
“Noona,” he repeats, tone a little rough. “You just said oppa.”
Wince. How are you going to explain yourself out of this one? Your boyfriend’s not the possessive type, but he is a man in his twenties, and he cares very much about what goes on in bed in your relationship.
“Did I?” you bluff. “But Hyukie…” You lift a hand and reach down to distract him. “You’re not continuing?”
Sanghyuk grabs your hand and flattens it to the mattress at your side. “Why?” The one syllable is loaded with suspicion.
“I don’t know,” you say quickly, semi-truthfully. “It definitely wasn’t on purpose.”
Hyuk frowns at you for a bit longer, then abruptly removes his hands from your body. Flustered, you pull yourself up into a sitting position, and he pushes up the bed to sit by your side. He leans over you and plants his hands on the mattress on either side of your hips, face still dead-serious.
“You don’t know?” he repeats. “You don’t know why you were thinking of someone else instead of me?”
“No, Hyuk-ah, I wasn’t thinking of someone else—I never call anyone oppa anyway, you know that,” you reason, placing your hands on his forearms just in case he underestimates his strength and smushes you right into the headboard. “I swear, I wasn’t thinking about anyone else.
He leans in some more. “You obviously weren’t thinking about me, since I’m not your oppa.”
You twist your head away under his peeved stare. “It’s not that I was not thinking about you—”
“Then what is it? Go on, tell me.”
“It’s not… it’s not anything. It’s nothing.”
His stare doesn’t let up, and the mixture of guilt and frustrated arousal you’re feeling makes you spill a little.
“I mean, in the past I only dated men older than me, so I, uh, guess I got used to saying oppa when…” You pat his arms awkwardly. “...when this happens.”
In your view, it’s truly an innocuous habit (after all, you’re not actually lusting after any specific oppa). Hyuk doesn’t seem to see it that way.
“You got used to saying it?”
“Just… the feeling in the moment triggers the habit, I guess? And I feel that way when we’re together.” You try to explain it differently, hoping it’ll soothe his ego. Judging by the way his jaw is working, it didn’t help.
“When we sleep together—” He shifts in closer. “—you feel the same way you felt in your past relationships?”
“No, that’s not it,” you say, a bit exasperated now. “What I mean is, I feel good when we’re together, and my past experience made me link that to using the term oppa. That’s it.”
Hyuk considers this for a few moments as his hands gradually curl into fists by your side. You slowly ease back to restore some distance between the two of you; it’s hot when he crowds you, but at this angle you’re going to get a crick in your neck.
All of a sudden, without words, Hyuk moves away and gets off the bed. You push yourself upright, confused, and watch him swiftly remove his remaining clothes. His boxers hit the floor and he lifts his head to meet your eyes. When you see his unsmiling expression, you swallow and instinctively inch backward.
With his erection casually leading the way, he climbs back onto the bed. A yelp escapes you when he hooks his hands behind your knees and spreads you wide without any hesitation, toppling you backwards.
“Hyuk-ah?” You shake your hair out of your face and peer up at him.
“Again.” His gaze drifts up from your exposed sex to your face, and he locks eyes with you again. “Say it.”
The head of his cock brushes your clit, and you twitch in his firm grasp. “What?”
“My name.” Hyuk presses his hips forward, and the wet slick of his cock over your labia nearly makes you whimper. “Are you going to say it, noona?”
“Yeah, yes, it’s you of course,” you say hastily, flattening your sweaty palms into the covers. “You, Sanghyuk-ah.”
Almost by accident, his cock notches into your opening, and your breath hitches. Hyuk’s gaze flies down; he likes watching himself penetrate you, enter you. You just want him to move a little and generate some friction.
“Me,” he says, and pushes. The word ends in a sharp exhale, and you let out an involuntary sound at the immediate tight fit. “Fuck…”
He slides in the rest of the way and you’re squirming the entire way, trying not to squeak at every movement he makes. It’s difficult; you’re small and he’s thick and the sensation of fullness within you, while not as sparklingly pleasurable as his mouth on your clit, is still incredibly erotic.
Hyuk’s head has fallen forward, his bangs hiding his eyes. He stays unusually still, breath coming audibly as your inner muscles clench around him.
“Hyuk-ah.” You’re not sure exactly what you want to say, if you’re asking him to move or checking how he’s feeling or demanding that he get you off; maybe all of them.
His head lifts and he makes eye contact. Then he drops your legs and stretches down to brace himself on his forearms, face now up close and personal with your breasts.
He lowers his lips to the valley between them and drags his mouth upward, small pursed kisses turning into nibbles and bites the higher he goes. The whole time he’s got his hips completely still, letting your muscles helplessly milk his cock inside you, over and over.
You’re squirming again by the time Hyuk reaches the curve of your neck, your breath coming in restrained pants. “Hyuk — ”
Teeth, suddenly.
“Ouch.” Your hand flies up to grasp his hair. “Hey!”
You tug, but he only lets go after a good two seconds.
“Mm?” he murmurs into your skin, tongue now laving over the bitten area.
“Don’t bite.”
“Why?” He raises his head to take a look at his work, and you shoot him a stern frown.
“You’ll leave a mark—!” You cut yourself off when Hyuk lowers his head again and nibbles at the same spot, almost affectionately this time. “Han Sanghyuk, seriously?” you groan, pulling harder on his hair.
He lifts his head again to half-smile at you, expression changing from brooding to a little pleased. A little too pleased. “So what?” he says guilelessly. “It’s just a mark.”
“That’s what you say.” Your words trail off again as he dips his head and presses an open-mouthed kiss to each of your nipples, sending thick ribbons of pleasure through you.
Your hips are moving by themselves at this point, unused to having Hyuk keep himself still for so long. Finally, he rises back up and focuses downward. With precision, he withdraws almost all the way, and then thrusts straight back in to the hilt.
“Oh my God—” The impact reverberates through your whole body; you fling your arms up to keep from sliding into the headboard.
“Okay?” Hyuk asks low, eyes going up to your face.
You gulp and manage, “As long as I don’t hit my head.”
In response, he drags himself out of you again, slowly, slowly, slower than you’ve ever felt him move. And even though you brace yourself, his hard forward thrust still blows half of your circuits with the near-instantaneous sensation of fullness.
He repeats the movement, eyes still trained on you, and you can’t help another sound from slipping out when he plunges in once more. “God, Hyuk,” you manage, blinking sweat out of your eyes.
“Noona,” he says. “This is me. Got it?” He emphasizes the question with another drive home. “Us.” An agonizing withdrawal. “You and me.” Another filling thrust.
“I got it,” you blurt, “I got it.” You’re hanging onto the headboard for dear life, the sensations within you absolutely scrambling your mind.
“Who?” he asks once more, though his breathing is rough now and he’s speeding up, he can’t help it.
“You, Hyuk-ah, you and us, us!” You’re saying anything at this point, hoping it’s what he wants to hear, hoping he won’t stop until you reach what you’re reaching for.
“That’s right,” Hyuk says on a pant, and slows just enough to put a palm over your clit and press.
There’s no finesse to it, he’s just applying blunt pressure as well as he can while his hips work, but for a wild second you think he might be able to feel himself thrusting into you through your abdomen and the thought is so hot that your orgasm hits.
“Ugh — ” With a stifled groan, you close your eyes and climax.
Hyuk follows almost immediately. He buries himself deep into your clenching heat and presses his entire body against you, clutching you close as he shudders and moans in your ear. And it feels as though the pleasure running through your body is his as well, or his pleasure is yours, the two of you skin-to-skin while lights fire behind your eyes.
His pants are slowing as you come down from your high. Eyes still shut, you reach up and tangle your fingers in his hair, wanting to maintain the feeling of intimacy for a little longer despite his weight.
When he tilts his head and mouths at your neck again, your eyes snap open. You grip his hair and tug.
He comes with the pressure, and for a second you think he actually listened to you for once. But he just takes a moment to look over the bruise on your neck, then swoops back in to lick at you.
“Yah, Sanghyuk-ah.”
“Yes, noona?” he mumbles, and doesn’t budge.
“Stop that before you ruin the mood.”
He pauses, then lifts just high enough to plant his lips onto yours. You lose your breath; his kisses are just as sweet as he is, just as loving, and it fills the rest of the space in your heart.
But he’s still lying on top of you, and quickly you need air. You press a hand to his shoulder and push. He just shifts and finds another angle with a pleased hum.
You twist away, drawing a whine from him, and gasp in the air you need. “Heavy,” you manage, and give him another push.
“Oh, sorry.” Hyuk heaves himself off, causing his soft cock to slip out. You wince as your combined fluids leak from your sensitive opening.
“Do you want a towel?” he asks, even though he looks like he’d rather not move for a while.
You shake your head. “It’s okay, I was going to take a shower after anyway.”
He props himself up on his elbow and peers over at you. “After…”
“After—” You clamp your mouth shut as you remember what you were doing before Hyuk came in and surprised you.
A wide smile spreads across his face. “I didn’t get to finish helping you,” he murmurs, reaching out to trace his fingers over your skin.
You’re pretty sure it defies definition to “help” someone masturbate, but you get what he means. “You helped me plenty,” you assure him, and stretch lazily to prove your point.
“Were you thinking about me?” His smile fades a little. “Or not?” He palms your neck, pressing against the mark he’d bitten. “Maybe one of your oppas?”
Sigh. “Hyuk-ah, I told you, I wasn’t thinking of anyone at all.” You grip his wrist and stroke your thumb against his skin. “I promise I’m going to break that habit, okay?”
He grumbles a bit, then demands, “How did you even form a habit like that? You don’t call anyone oppa.”
“I think that’s probably why my exes liked it,” you admit. “Because it was… different, I guess, from how I usually was.”
Hyuk considers this, then grimaces in distaste and pulls you closer. “So perverted.”
You snuggle into his arms and hide your smile. “You’re one to talk.”
“Me?” he says in self-righteous outrage. “None of the things I like are based on degrading the other person!”
“Hmm.” You peer up at him. “So, you don’t like being called oppa in bed?”
“No, because why would you call me oppa.” Hyuk leans back and frowns at you.
“Right.” You lower your gaze and gently touch one of his nipples. He tenses, then relaxes. “But…” You walk your fingers up his chest, over his Adam’s apple, and up his neck until you reach his lips. When you meet his eyes, he’s watching you intently. “Are you sure you don’t like it… oppa?” you whisper.
He swallows, eyes on your mouth. He licks his lips. Tries to find his words.
With your other hand, you reach down and, yep, he’s getting hard again. You barely contain your chuckle. “No. You like it.”
“No, that’s—” Hyuk reaches down and takes your hand away from his dick. “That’s…”
“Because other girls have called you that during sex?”
“No!” he denies vehemently, and you have to laugh at this point. “No, noona—”
“I’m teasing,” you tell him, interlacing your fingers together. “It’s fine to be turned on by it, I don’t consider it degrading.”
He continues to squirm. “But… I still don’t want you to say it.”
“I won’t.” You kiss the back of his fingers. “You’re not my oppa, anyway.”
“Exactly. So just think of me,” Hyuk says firmly, then revises his statement. “Only think of me.”
“I got it,” you soothe him, and pat him on the chest. “Ah, so insecure.”
“Don’t make me jealous, then,” he shoots back, palming one of your breasts in return.
“Deal.” Now, shower time. You push away and move to sit upright.
But Hyuk rolls over and, in one swift movement, pins you under him with his weight over your legs. “Wait, noona.”
You look at him curiously. “What?”
He shifts downward on the bed. “I want to finish helping you,” he says into your skin as he kisses down your stomach.
“Wha—wait, you don’t have to.” You squeak as he presses a kiss to your clit, his fingers sliding further down through the wetness that’s spilled out of you. “Hang on, Hyuk-ah—”
“That’s right,” he breathes against you, “say it.”
“Hyuk-ah…!”
You barely know your own name by the time he’s done with you.

As Sooyeon walked to the subway station, she glanced around. Get a grip, you’re not being watched. Why would anyone watch you anyway? You’re just a programmer for Hundred Blossoms, it’s not like you’re Cha Hakyeon, or Lee Hongbin, or Hagihara Hana.
She was distracted from her feeling of dread when she passed by a familiar alley. “Hey, isn’t this where that cafe on Hana’s Instagram was?"
Hakyeon liked that post... and said he liked the coffee too. Sooyeon, he has been buying you dinner for so long. Shouldn’t you at least get him coffee? She grinned.
“It’s only right, there’s totally nothing weird about getting him coffee. It’s only a token of appreciation. And so it’s even more not weird, I'll also get coffee for the others, it’s an investment, a little bribe goes a long way, yes it does...” she blabbered as she entered Coffee Hanyakbang.
Since it took some time for ten orders of coffee to be manually poured-over, she played a game on her phone to chase away that weird feeling of dread in the pit of her stomach.
“Coffee for Choi Sooyeon!”
“Yes!” she called, scurrying to the counter and taking a carrier in each hand. She whirled around, tried to avoid a tall man that loomed before her, but she tripped on his foot. Her carriers fell on his open laptop, and to her horror, coffee burst from the cups. That feeling of dread dropped in her stomach again, at full force.
“I’m sorry!” she cried, grabbing a wad of tissues and trying to mop up the laptop, but it was hopelessly soaked. “I--I’ll pay for a replacement!”
“It’s the latest GT75 Titan.” The strangely familiar man gave her a smile that warmed his wide-set eyes.
His eyes are twinkling! She gawked at his eyes, then gawked at his sharp jawline, broad shoulders, and his sheer height. Oh... wow... he could literally throw me around, and I don’t know if I’d even mind--
“Excuse me, Miss? Did you hear what I said? That’s 7 million won at retail price, and with customization--”
“Wait, what? 7 million??!” she croaked, ripping her eyes off his handsome figure to compose herself. She seized the laptop and shut it. “I-I’m sure that if it’s dried thoroughly and inspected, it will be okay!”
He shook his head. “This is the unit I use for work, I can’t just dump it in rice and hope for the best.”
“But...” She looked at the coffee cups rolling on the ground. “Why did those burst anyway..?”
“Oh, are you saying it’s this coffee shop’s fault? Miss!” he called a barista that looked like she had barely graduated from junior high school. “Did you prepare this order?”
The girl shook in her shoes. “Yes, I--”
“It looks like you didn’t prepare them properly and caused this accident. What are you going to do now?”
“I, I didn’t... I can’t...”
“Someone else has to take responsibility, since it’s not this Miss’ fault.” He gestured at Sooyeon.
The girl started sniffling. Sooyeon quickly said: “I didn’t mean her specifically, I meant the coffee shop--”
“Excuse me, Mr. Han?” The manager came forward. “We recognize that our employee has made a mistake and didn’t secure the cups properly, but the respected customer has also been negligent.” She bowed at Sooyeon. “The shop will pay upfront for half of the damages, and the employee’s wages will be garnished. We’re so sorry, we hoped to never inconvenience one of our regulars like this.”
“Isn’t that great?” He grinned again at Sooyeon, that twinkle in his eyes looking more dangerous than ever. “Now you only have to pay for half of the damages.”
“But that’s still three and a half million,” she rasped.
“Why don’t you give me your employer’s number?” he suggested. “I’m sure I can come to a similar arrangement with them.”
“No--never!” she gasped. Hakyeon finding out that I did something so clumsy--never!
“Then what else do you propose?” he drawled.
“How about... I’ll pay you in installments?” she asked. “I’ll pay you 500 thousand won every month--no, 700 thousand won every month!”
“Which means, I’ll be able to get a replacement in... six to seven months.” He tapped his sculpted chin in exaggerated pondering. “That’s with depreciation. It will probably be obsolete by then.”
“Even my entire bank account can’t cover all of it!” she cried. “I’ve only just graduated... even if I give you that fund, I would still need at least a month to pay back the rest!”
“That’s why I told you to let me talk to your employer.”
“Anything but that!” She pressed her hands together and looked up at him with what she hoped were passable puppy eyes. “Please!”
“Are you glaring at me?” he snorted.
She immediately bowed her head. “Nope! Not at all! Please don’t misunderstand!”
“Since you tried soooo hard... I’ll give you a month but on the condition--”
She bounced on her feet to hug him on impulse, but he side-stepped her and she nearly crashed into a table.
“Let’s see if you still want to hug me after hearing about my condition. You have to do errands for me the entire time that you’re paying me back.” he finished.
She gave him a withering look. “You mean... like a shuttle?”
“Yup.”
“Do I look like a high school student to you?”
“You certainly have the bank account of one.”
She huffed. “Yeah, I don’t think I want to hug you anymore.”
“And for that, I’m extremely grateful.” He held out his hand for her business card and gave her one in return.
“Han Sanghyuk?!” she cried, blinking at him then his business card, and back at him again. “You--you're even more good-looking in person!”
“I’ve been told that before.” He laughed outright, then suddenly sobered, his eyes narrowing. “Flattery is cheap, indeed. You need to work harder than that, Choi Sooyeon.”
Ever since you met Han Sang Hyuk, you seemed to be housing a kaleidoscope of butterflies in your stomach. Their appearance was so frequent whenever he was nearby that you even considered naming each butterfly. You had known Hyuk for quite a while now, for you were introduced through mutual friends and would text often whenever he could make time in his busy schedule. However, he was never quite so bold as to send you the message you had received this morning, so you were surprised when your phone lit up with a notification that read, “Y/N let’s go on a date~”
After going through the phases of shock and increased heart rate, and let us not forget our stomach butterfly friends, you managed to type out a positive reply, making sure to add a few laughing emoticons for good measure just in case it turned out to be a joke. You stared at the bright phone screen as you waited for another text from him and within a few minutes, an excited message popped up along with the time and address you’d meet up at.
‘Hello Alfred the Butterfly, please stop throwing parties in my stomach.’ was the reoccurring thought that travelled through your mind as you bustled around getting ready for the afternoon. Once you had finished checking how you looked in the mirror for the thousandth time, you walked to the busy Seoul subway station and got on the correct metro line to reach your destination.
A rosy blush formed on your cheeks when you spotted the tall dark haired boy standing with his back to you, looking around as he waited. You started walking over and couldn’t help yourself, so you suddenly thumped your hands down on his shoulders and let out a shout to scare him. Hyuk jumped up in fear and let out a shriek, his voice breaking as he did so, causing you to erupt in laughter. You clasped your stomach as you laughed even harder when you noticed the innocent surprised yet embarrassed look on his face. A little smile played on his lips as his shock fleeted away with the sound of your little giggles, and he found himself just staring at you, admiring your joy.
You quickly composed yourself when you noticed him watching you, the corners of his lips turned upwards. But the moment you two made eye contact, you both looked away, heads turned awkwardly as silence dominated the air between you. “Uh...we’re going this way.”, Hyuk said awkwardly, pointing towards the right as avoided looking into your eyes. You could tell he was starting to get a little nervous as you began walking to the venue, anticipating your reaction. He had started having doubts about whether he had chosen the right place for your first date, but there was nothing he could do about it now.
Hyuk held the door open for you as you both entered the building. On your way there, you had tried to lighten the mood and get rid of the uncomfortable silence by cracking a few lame jokes, which Hyuk responded to with even lamer jokes, not to your surprise, because that was one of the reasons you two got along; your senses of humour was very….unique?
By the time you and Hyuk ascended the stairs, you had realised where he had taken you: Popo & Miru Dog Cafe. The tall boy shifted next to you worriedly, subconsciously buttoning and unbuttoning the cuff of his grey button up as he waited to hear any sort of feedback. A giant smile cracked on your face and you couldn’t seem to contain your excitement no matter how hard you tried.
“What do you think?” Hyuk asked, scratching the back of his neck as he watched you carefully.
“I’ve always wanted to go to a dog ca-” You began, your tone filled with elation. However, you were cut off by three tiny puppies running to your feet and you wasted no time by bending now and stroking their fur. Letting out a sigh of relief, Hyuk let his worries fly away and crouched down next to you as more puppies rushed over to inspect the visitors.
“Wah! This one is so cute!” Hyuk gushed as he picked up a little white puppy with a black scarf tied around its neck and bright pink blush applied on its cheeks, “Look at her makeup! What’s your name? ….Ah, Dodo? Nice to meet you, Dodo!”
You couldn’t help but stare at him in awe as he played around with the little puppy friends, talking to them as if they could respond, and acting extremely adorable. “I was feeling a little anxious about bringing you here.” Hyuk chuckled, snapping you out of your daze.
You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion and cocked your head to the side, “How come?”, you asked.
“Well, for starters, your dress didn’t really reassure me of the fact that you liked dogs.” He joked, nodding his head to your sky blue dress with white kittens on it.
You rolled your eyes playfully and shot back, “If I’d known we were coming here, I would’ve worn my dog dress instead.” This evoked laughter from Hyuk. Oh that heavenly sound, it was music to your ears, as well as music to Alfred the Butterfly’s parties in the pit of your stomach.
Reluctantly, you two stood up, leaving the puppies, and greeted the workers of the cafe who happily took your orders and told you to sit down at one of the tables as they made your drinks. However, that request was just as impossible as a mother asking her child to sit still in a toy store. You both started playing with the little puppies and joking around with each other, sitting cross legged on the floor as the dogs jumped on your laps and barked for your attention.
Hyuk stroked Dodo’s head as she sat comfortably on his lap. His eyes widened slightly when she let out a bark, beginning to quarrel with one of the other dogs. Your eyes shot up when you heard Hyuk start barking as well, participating in the fight taking place between the puppies. You giggled at his actions, shaking your head as you bit your lip. He was way too adorable.
Dodo barked once more and jumped off Hyuk’s lap onto yours, licking your hands as you clasped the treats in your palm. “Roll over!”, you attempted as you held the treat out. Dodo urgently rolled over, lapping her tongue as she waited for the treat expectantly. “Good girl!” You praised as you fed her the treat and kissed her head.
A bigger, protective hand grabbed yours to seize your attention and you looked up to find Hyuk pouting at you. “How come Dodo gets a kiss before me?”, Hyuk whined, holding back his smirk as he shameless played the situation to his advantage. You blushed and teased him, “Dodo’s a lot cuter.”
He puffed and shook his head, “Do I have to roll over too?” He asked, still pouting, a hint of a smile peeking out. You tilted your head to the side as if to think, but before you know it, his soft lips were pressed against yours in a kiss. Your breath hitched at your throat, however, you found yourself quickly responding. Pulling away with a goofy smile, Hyuk chuckled at your surprised reaction.
“I was too lazy to roll over like Dodo.”
