So uh Hyun Cha's reaction to a reader who's normally kind of shy and guarded but their monster acts bat shit crazy and is literally all over him. Like so clinging to him and complimenting him 24/7.

They're like 😍 to him.

How would he react?

First off! Tackling the shy reader part!!!

He would definitely feel awkward around you, he isn’t really one to speak up unless he’s comfortable with the person he’s with, and everyone else kind of just came to him and did the opening up for him. So it’s gonna be a while before he gets to know you. I think he would find solace with you though, he thinks your chill and he can kind of understand your reserved nature. Though I don’t think he would actively seek you out like he does with jisu.

Sine your also infected and under the same circumstances as him, (being able to control it) you are also paired up to go with him on missions and the like. I think this is where you would really bond. You two are going through the same thing and with his prior thoughts on you he converses with you. It’s kind of as if he’s trying to comfort you.

As for your monster, he’s definitely taking a while to process it. He’d fluster up and be really confused. He would definitely run to jisu and tell her about it. Hyun’s been kind of deprived of human interaction for a while, especially anything romantic. and considering he isn’t used to you saying anything bluntly like that to him, your monster doing so is a first for him.

It takes him a while to get used to, and frankly I don’t think he ever does. Out of all things your monster tries to use against you, it swoons over him? Therefore you have feelings for him. As an infected person he finds it so absurd because the one thing that could possibly convince you to turn, is him? He’s literally your life line and he doesn’t know how to feel about that. If he likes you he would feel bad for reciprocating because he doesn’t want to seem like he’s only doing it so you don’t turn :(

Dont have the energy to make this into a full on story or art piece or whatever but in the Sweet Home manhwa, Hyun and Hyuk talk online for a bit without knowing who each other are, before Hyun finally leaves his room, and it made me think 'what if they kept talking online throughout the series?? But they dont know they're talking to each other???'

Like, imagine Hyun's joined the main group downstairs and him and Hyuk don't exactly get along, but when they're alone, they just whip out their phones and text their online buddy, who's somehow still alive in the apocalypse, and are just like 'hii how r things over there?? :3' y'know??

What if they were heavily comforted by their online friend who they cant see or touch and dont even know the name of? What if they tolerate each other at best in person, but absolutely adore each other online?? What if they fell in love online-

That last bit was a /hj bc while I do ship these two, this idea also works well platonically.

It could also be applied to their show versions if you changed them up a bit (Eun-Hyeok mainly, since they got rid of his nerdy gamer side)

Anyways, I just think this idea is neat :]
