Just in case Lance Reddick is not in the mood... I’m watching The Good Doctor right now and, believe me, this actor looks just as scary and clever as Sylens.

Tilda Swinton or Morfydd Clark as Tilda van der Meer

I don't know if the name is just a coincidence, but Tilda Swinton looks like the first inspiration for the character modeling! And also, Galadriel and her frozen expression fit a lot for the role, but maybe she is too young yet.

Richard Harmon as Nil

I know this wouldn't be the perfect choice for Niloy fans, but just look at his psychopathic stare... He is Nil.

Adina Porter as Sona or Dekka or Gaia or whatever she wants

She needs to be in this series, haunting machines, advising wisely, forging armors... She just belongs to the horizon universe.

Talanah + sweet!

Talanah preferred spicy food.

Honestly! It wasn't unusual, the Carja were known for their spices outside of Meridian. They didn't grow everything, mostly peppers, cinnamon and a variety of other hearty things that basked under the warmth of the Sun God. So, stuff like that was never scarce for them and it was what they were used to.

After the Battle of the Alight and defeating HADES, she got to spend some time with Erend, Varl, Varl's mother, Sona as well as a few others that Aloy had made friends with in her search for truth. Huddled around a fire at night was how she found out, from a rather cagey Sona, that the Nora preferred the sweeter or saltier things. "Everything here is too hot," she was still healing from her wounds so she couldn't leave just yet and Varl wouldn't let her because he didn't want to lose her to her own stuborness.

Talanah could see that. "Do you grow sugar in the Sacred Lands?" She asked, curious and rather hopeful that she wouldn't piss off the few Nora who were uneasily here.

Varl offered the olive branch. He pulled something from within his pack, leaves in a bundle then passed them over to her. "Not really, farming isn't our thing like it is to you Carja. Aloy said they were... sugarcane?" He frowned, glancing around as if to try and spot her ever elusive thrush.

She wondered what she was supposed to do with the bundle. Was she supposed to open it? Was she just supposed to... eat it? Talanah didn't want to ask but she also didn't want to offend them by not knowing what to do. They were already on an uneasy truce here and the last thing she wanted to do was to break it.

Except as she bit into it, some of the Nora started laughing around her. Even Sona's face seemed to lose it's severe edge, a hint of mirth now there as Varl sputtered. "Goddess no, you're not supposed to eat the leaf!" He waved his hands frantically, grabbing it from her and unwrapping it for her to see a small mound of molasses like substence. "I'm sorry, I should have mentioned it."

Talanah swallowed the sickly sweet, bitter leaf and grimaced. "It'e okay, I've tasted worse things." Now she scooped up some of the syrup, licking it off her finger as Varl explained what it was, she could enjoy the syrup a bit more. Plus, it didn't hurt that the Nora seemed to relax around her, trading stories about how she was the Carja who ate the bitter leaf so as to not offend them.

Well, small favours she supposed.
