Jasper canonically wore her cape in her first appearance only to look better in front of Rose + is proud of her appearance + maybe wears eye makeup. If she weren't so stubborn, I'm sure she could have changed her uniform into something incredibly fashionable

Actually, since Lapis swapped her skirt for pants, I think Jasper should do the opposite. I DO NOT see any reason why not ( heels would suit her by the way)
