Again texting my friend at 1am about writing my fic because I can't seem to manage doing it at literally any other time.

I cooked myself an omelette and it actually tasted okay?

I have to brag for a minute. I just made a bomb-ass rice dish that I’ve only dreamed of.

(Inspiration was a Spanish style version of Stick-of-Butter Rice.)

1 cup rice

1 cup water

1 - 28 oz can crushed tomatoes

1/4 cup Knorr Chicken and Tomato bouillon

1 small can of golden corn (with green and red peppers)

1 stick of butter

Mix all but butter together in a sprayed baking dish, slice butter into pieces and top the mixture. Bake at 400*F for 50 minutes.

Weirdly enough, despite the fact there is zero cheese in the dish, it tastes cheesy… idk how I pulled that part off. You could also use actual taco seasoning or chili powder to add more spice.
