also if we were to judge the relative ~inclusiveness~ of a tv show by the number of canonically gay characters it has then a show like glee which is horrifically offensive in so many ways would be classed as the most “”“progressive”“” thing out there

ugh i have so many problems with glee that i'm not even going to get into

then again I have a lot of problems with the amount of queer-baiting that goes on in supernatural: crowley/bobby + the photo, 'he was my gay thing', the weird gay reveal at the end of 'the real ghostbusters', the amount of implied and assumed wincest

BUT the main thing is if you think your favourite well-developed character is gay then GOOD because u r totally right there are not enough queer characters undefined by their sexuality and if TPTB aren't going to give us any, we'll just have to define them ourselves

WRITERS YOU ARE MISSING A MASSIVE PART OF YOUR DEMOGRAPHIC TO CREATE RELATABLE WELL WRITTEN CHARACTERS FOR
