i can't comprehend a female's list of traits and qualities they want their significant other to possess

for instance;

the simple but high-maintenance girls want an attractive male that has a photo-shopped body, nice nail beds, and an exquisite taste in style that run to your door at three in the morning to drop off heart shaped candy 

and the complex women want the educated males that write poetry and give them fortune cookies for their month anniversary with clever, romantic notes that says,"the abyss people try to furnish between us will never perish because the hue of your eyes reel me in every time" or something along those lines

why can't you just stick with a dude that makes you happy
