Amanda hadn’t just come from a hot bath, or any strenuous work in the sun. Nor had she done or heard anything particularly embarrassing... all she was doing was lounging on the couch! A book and some papers were in front of her, and she was practicing her Elibian.
She just, didn’t have an explanation for the rising heat in her face. It sent a shiver down her spine, forcing her attention away from the book as she sat up. “It’s hot in here...” Amanda shrugged off her outer jacket, before returning to her reading. Though she quickly noticed the heat refusing to go anywhere.
