When Adams betrayal scene was shown, I was genuinely so shocked that I had to close the book for a minute. I was thinking either Adam or Eufrasio was the mole since to me they both had motivations. Eufrasio of course wanted to leave and was fed up with the boss, but Adam also didn’t like how business was going , and he also wanted Eufrasio out of the picture because he was jealous. It was still so shocking to me that he would go this far though.

So recently I watched Sk8 The Infinity and….. it was a hard watch for me to say the very least. There were so many parts that made me just wanna die inside, specifically the parts with Adam in them, I don’t think there are words to describe how much I dislike this character. His behavior towards Langa as well as some other characters throughout the show is… concerning.. what concerns me the most is how little his actions are acknowledged in the fandom, I’ve seen so many people defend him or just glide over his behavior completely. While I do believe ( in most cases) we shouldn’t let a character hold us back from enjoying a show, I also believe there is a limit, Adam passes that limit many times. From touching up on langa in the earlier episodes to him saying he’d fall for Miya too once he “blossomed.” Again, sk8 the infinity itself isn’t a bad show however characters like Adam make the experience a little more iffy

“Oh he had a bad childhood!!” That’s no excuse for him to act in a sadistic inappropriate manner towards MINORS, please remember that langa is what like 17 and Miya is like 12-13, which just makes his comment even worse. He’s a grown man acting inappropriately towards children there’s really no excusing his behavior. Another thing I’d like to mention is how he literally GROOMED Miya, he was so weird to multiple characters, it didn’t matter their age yet some of you sit here and make excuses as to why he acted the way he did and why he did the things he would do!

I really wanted to love this show, the plot was so unique and different from most anime’s, but it’s definitely not something I would re-watch at least not anytime soon. I definitely found characters I liked and there were many scenes that resonated with me.. but again, it definitely isn’t something I can see myself going back too.
