It honestly makes sense that Elder Faerie Cookie dies, as it was always odd that in the beginning of the game each of the ancients had a kingdom except for white Lily, who's background has butterflies instead of cookies, which makes sense in the context of them representing faeries, so at some point we will likely get to the point in which White Lily Cookie takes over the Faerie kingdom in Elder Faeries stead. It also makes sense with her faerie costume and all the things she has to do with the kingdom over all.

Also it's another neat connection between her, Silent Salt, and Elder Faerie, as Elder Faerie likely saw White Lily acting a lot like Silent Salt which is why he even trusted her at the beginning-
