I’m vexed. Ad.fly is an abomination. And yes, there are delightful “skipper” extensions out there - but they don’t actually “skip” anything, you still go through the ugly in-between site you don’t really want to go to before you get to the one you actually want to.
How do I know? Because I have said extensions installed but my Norton antivirus kills the connection every time with a “malicious attack” from some random in-between site.
So I’m vexed. I would like to get Virtual Artisan X’s “no glow” mods, but I can’t.

Look, I actually don't mind when cc and mod creators do things to monetize their websites. A lot of time and hard work goes into making cc. I get it. The most gifted, hardest working creators seem to be pretty adamantly against pay sites and ads, even when I would throw money at them for what they make. We can't all be so saintly. No judgement from me.
BUT: please, please, stop using adfly! It only works with pop-up blockers turned off, and the ads are designed to make you accidentally click something to download crap. I'm done with risking getting malware by turning off malware bytes and adblocker just to download cc and mods. It is not cool. So, please, if you really need money to be able to afford to take the time to make cc and mods, please find some other way to monetize your downloads.
