Mostly I make poses for Sims 3, but lately I've been branching out. Follow my adventures in meshing, pose-making and other random nonsense. Please do not re-upload my stuff or put it behind pay-walls. That's just rude. I DO NOT ACCEPT REQUESTS
So If you asked yesterday, I would have sworn to you that I for certain was playing The Sims 1 in college. Or even late high school.
Of course the memories were vague - I remember my college apartment, my loser trash ex-boyfriend (good riddance), and generically playing computer games. And I very vaguely have memories of the Christmas gift exchange where my brother scammed me and brother #2 into buying EA games in a BOGO sale (me and B2 didn't know it was a BOGO...) and brother 1 kept the extra game for himself. Mentally I have inserted loser boyfriend into that memory somehow as well but only in the most vague capacity.
But The SIms 1 was released February 2000??? AFTER Y2K?!?! Oh hell no. That could not have played out like that at ALL. Because I was in my present-day job by that point. And was went to Splitsville with the loser ex like 4 years prior.
Now.. I am absolutely certain the BOGO happened because the gift brother #1 picked (we let him pick for some reason) for my MOM was The Sims 1. My Mom, who has never in her life shown any interest whatsoever in a game like this. And I very clearly - this is the most clear part of this memory - remember her giving me a questioning side-eye at the time, like "WTH is even this, honey?" while smiling and making appropriate gratitude noises. Later when my brothers weren't around she'd asked me about it and very quietly gave me the game. We never told the boys...
That part is unequivocal fact of how I came into possession of the game - the BOGO sale and my Mom giving me the game. But, how the loser ex and my college apartment - and for that matter college at all - got tangled into this is anybody's guess...
I do hope all the creators that are making advent calendars plan to release their swag as normal uploads after the events. I seem to remember once the advent is over, the advent calendars goes away (at least the site most people use).
FINALLY! I got together something in time for Simblreen! I'm not able to do the porch light thing, so I am posting the treat publicly.
This is a mega pose pack containing 120 vampire-inspired poses. It started out as just a small pack of a few "inverted" poses (thanks for the inspiration @murfeelee!) and I just went crazy from there. There is a little bit of everything in there.

POSE NAMES
The list is too long to pose here, so I included it in the download file.
NOTES
Some of the poses are the same, just in different orientations (lying, floating, inverted, or standing).
Some poses have slightly different variations to accommodate the different male and female physique.
Many of the vignettes are made to "snap" together. Where it made sense to do, I also included "stand alone" versions. They will have the subscript "_sa".
All of the poses intended to be ceiling height (such as the inverted ones and ceiling crawlers) as well as all of the coffin and bed poses have been lowered to make them more flexible. Use OMSP to raise them to desired height.

Alas... The scaling didn't stick even after inserting the keyframe for location, rotation and scale. Location/rotation took but the scale reverted. It would have been hilarious if it worked.... Might experiment more later, but this particular 'nightmare fuel' is on hold for now...
I'm making some poses that form a vignette and I've made them so they line up as I envision them. But, they could be used independently. So I'm not sure if I should make them "snap" or just be centered independently. Thoughts?
Make them snap! I can't be bothered positioning them.

Okay, so I have the full set of "A mix of good and bad" household updates. And if you followed me for more than a nanosecond, you know I like to do an updated version of "the original" sim, but then do a gender-flipped version. And usually I can come up with alternate but still appropriate name for the new version.. but this one eludes me. It's Lilly-Bo Chique. I just don't know what to call him! Beau became Belle, because they are similar sounding, but also are reasonably related meaning-wise. And the others are Marina -> Marino; and Bianca-> Blanchard. But what to do with Lilly-Bo?!?
I was inspired by images of "Japanese street-style fashion" but I'm not going to claim that they are in any way an accurate reflection of the aesthetic.
Anyway.. if nothing else they are cuter than the original hopefully. That's the main thing. And if someone can help me out with an appropriate name, I'd appreciate it.
At some point, I started making over the "Mixture of Good and Bad" Household" and never finished. So I pulled them out of the crypt for reasons (wink wink). As I like to do, I gender-flipped Beau and made Belle. I don't have the original Beau handy for comparison, but you can see him on the wiki.
Ignoring the flood of uncanny valley picspam because people like shiny new things and that's cool.
But what is up with the recent spate of people reblogging their own stuff from like 2023? I mean okay sure if you updated it or fixed something... but no. Just curious more than anything.
Random AF and nobody asked for my opinion but here it is anyway...
I am not a fan of post containing gif clips of tv/movies - where it is multiple copies of nearly the same clip at just slightly different timing. I don't get it.
And to clarify - I get posting fan clips of whatever. It's the multiple copies of basically the same clip in the same post, sometimes even right next to each other.
ps - and yes, I'm still around lurking. I'll be back making shiny new stuff as soon as I convince myself it is okay to stop organizing the horder-level pile of cc for the umpteenth time...
