recently i have been so enraged by this offseason so here is my opinions that no one has asked for.

first of all, the mets have no idea what they are doing. they have let their BEST closer just walk to the dodgers and pete alonso is 99% likely to go to the orioles. the mets were 3 million dollars away from the dodgers offer for edwin diaz but NO THEY JUST LET HIM GO. THEY HAVE THE MONEY FOR THAT. they are literal billionaires who just last season made the BIGGEST sports contract EVER. IN ALL SPORTS.

AND THEY DIDNT EVEN MAKE AN OFFER FOR PETE. they just lost one of their BIGGEST FRANCHISE PLAYERS and didnt even TRY to get him.

mind you they just missed the 2025 playoffs AND THEN THEY JUST LET SOME OF THEIR BEST PLAYERS JUST LEAVE.

AND THE ORIOLES ARENT EVEN THAT GOOD. THEY FINISHED LAST IN AL EAST IN 2025 AND HAD 75 TO 87. THEY LOST MORE THAN THEY WON.

why would pete even WANT to go there!!

AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE DODGERS.

THEY WIN BACK TO BACK WORLD SERIES BUT NO. THEY ARENT DONE. THEY SAY "im not fucking done. i want MORE" AND THEY ARE TAKING EVERY SINGLE GOOD FREE AGENT THEY CAN FIND.

UNLIMITED AMERICAN EXPRESS CARD SWIPE FUCKING SWIPE.

AND THEY ARE SUCH A GOOD TEAM IT PISSES ME OFF. THEY HAVE AMAZING TEAM CHEMISTRY, A BACK TO BACK WORLD SERIES ROSTER, AND MONEY. SO MUCH MONEY.

I MEAN JESUS I WANT TO PLAY FOR THE DODGERS WHO WOULDNT????

AND IF THERE WAS A PAY TO WIN TEAM IT WULD BE THEM. i saw this on tiktok, kate maniscalco (love her) posted saying saying that its not the dodger's fault that other teams arent spending money BUT IT IS THEIR FAULT THAT EVERY SINGLE WANTED FREE AGENT IS GOING TO BE GONE IN A MONTH. BECAUSE THEY HAVE THAT MUCH MONEY!!

AND THEN SCOTT BORIS CODY'S AGENT IS GIVING THESE CRYPTIC ASS MESSAGES ON WHO HE MIGHT GO TO. ENOUGH. JUST DONT GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION AT THIS POINT.

I keep saying how much these trades or signings remind me of other moves that have happened over the years...this brock holt signing just brings back memories of shane victorino being traded in 2014. That was the only other time I've every actually cried over a trade and I think it was huge mistake...victorino and holt both gave their hearts and souls to this team and then ownership basically said screw you.

Long story short, I'm sad and I'm mad at the red Sox for not signing brock. Also still pissed about victorinos trade too.
