EVIL PERCY BECAUSE THERE’S SO LITTLE OF THIS TAG IN AO3, and most of them is Percy being possessed by Orthax, which is not the same thing.

It begins with Cass and Percy exchanging roles, but the difference here is that Percy eventually accepts the Briarwoods as his new family and gets corrupted by their influence, is not just Stockholm syndrome, Percy truly embraces the dark side, and Sylas and Delilah also truly love him as the son they could never have. He is feared just as much as the Briarwoods, Ripley and Anders can’t even look at him wrong without risking being in the Briarwoods’ bad side.

Then, at the night of the gala in honor of VM, Percy comes along with the Briarwoods. Cassandra is devasted to see how her kind and timid brother now has the same prideful, sadistic eyes of the murders of her family.

When Vax goes to snop in the Briarwoods’ room, Percy confronts him instead. Finding Vax fascinating and entertaining, after the fight against VM, he ask Delilah to take Vax with them, and how could an evil mother say no to her lovely demon son? XD

Vax is hypnotized by Sylas to be at Percy’s side and protect him, so while Vax is stuck with Percy, he decides to gain as much info as he can while he waits for VM to come to Whitestone. Somehow, he manages to bring some humanity and kindness out from the human, he realizes that Percy is not so far gone yet and there may be a chance to redeem him. So what better way to do that than to seduce Percy into the light side lmao

It didn’t take long for Olympus to fall.

Percy stood in the blooded throne room, the crumpled bodies of gods on the ground. He’d have to bind them and toss them in Tartarus like they’d done to Kronos. But for now he looked out over what had once been the palace of the gods. 

Buildings were crumpled, some completely demolished by the earthquakes and floods Percy had rained down on the mountain.

It wasn’t long before the demigods who had fought by his side came in, draggin in a bound Annabeth. They stopped near him.

“Percy, why did you do this? I thought you disagreed with what Luke tried to do?”

“I’m not doing what Luke intended. He wanted Kronos to take over, let the Titans have the world.”

“This isn’t any different!”

Percy tilted his head. “But I’m in control now. Not some self-absorbed gods who never even bother to contact their children, to help them.”

“But– but why now? They’ve done terrible things plenty of times. Percy, this isn’t like you.”

“Isn’t it? You’re the one that told me that there was something wrong with me, that my powers were twisted and wrong. But our abilities are just tools to keep us safe. To keep each other safe.”

Annabeth was silent, her eyes had started to tear up. “What are you going to do with me then? Kill me like you killed all of them?” she said gesturing with her head to the carnage around them.

“Of course not, Annabeth. I could never kill you.”

“Well, I’m never going to join you!”

Percy smiled sadly. “You will one day. We’ve got plenty of time.”
