#i hate standardization

I don't know if it is just me or how it happened, but I feel I can't find websites with hobby articles anymore? Right, this sounds weird. I mean that I can't find a site where people just have research articles about tokusatsu, for example. Or a webssite solely for sci-fi books...

The articles are out there, and I bet I can find loads of stuff here in tumblr. But I have a rough time finding single topic places anymore.

I blame search engines directing us the usual suspects all the time. As well as social media trying to standardize virtual spaces and monopolize our attention.

I hate it when you do research outside of the textbook and then get points off for it. Like oh, you did extra work because the information in the textbook wasn't sufficient? Sorry, it only counts if it's from this one book that we grade everything off of because bias doesn't exist.
