ew ew ew tumblr already went ahead and installed the new notes feature 😭😭 there’s no way to undo the update on the browser but if you use the tumblr app, you can turn off automatic app updates so you won’t get it—at least for now!

if you have an iphone, open settings and search automatic and you’ll see:

click that and then turn off app updates:

it’s so obnoxious that you can’t do this on a individual app basis, so for your other apps you’re going to have to peek into the app store every now and then and update them manually. but i would rather that than live with this new update i’m sorry 🫠

(this is for iphone because that’s what i have, but i’m sure it’s similar on other devices. just google “turn off automatic app updates” + your phone!)
