So, Poppy playtime community- Say hello to Dolores!
I won't go to much into her story right now, but the gist of it is that she's a runaway, ended up at the play Co factory and got drafted into bring the outside food errand girl for Prototype- that rapidly becomes a friendship against his will over the course of 36 months (just a little about 3 years- (2002-2005))
Someday I will draw her digitally but for now enjoy the doodles under the readmore!
GHAGSHAH THANK YOU THIS IS THE BRUSH I USE FOR EVERYTHING ANY HARD LIGHTING IS JUST LASSO TOOL (the madoka line art wasn't by digital brush it was a traditional drawing with the settings tweaked and the extract line drawing filter on Ibis paint)
I love Tae with my whole ass heart and soul but like WHO ENJOYS EATING MINCHO? I'd rather eat toothpaste pls Mincho is a no-no 🥺😤❌

now look what he posts today (i ain't complaining tho 😏)
- snape knew that she was asexual before she realised that she was a girl.
- knew but didn't have the words so she spent her childhood confused by her
body and herself in a way that no one else seemed to.
- lily didn't know why snape was so odd. for a while she thought that snape was only self conscious of how her body looked. snape didn't disagree.
- once, when snape couldn't hold it in but couldn't risk being found out, she asked lily what other name would lily's mother have given her. then she asked what name lily thought snape's mother would have given her if she was born a girl.
- mary. because it was plain and simple but snape wasn't plan and she wasn't simple either.
- sometimes lily and her would talk about crushes, sex and romance. snape would agree that girls were pretty but they were terrible. the boys were handsome but they were worse. perhaps they were meant to be alone, lily would say sadly. snape would be sad but also happy and it was baffling.
- soon snape began to hate the other students in earnest. they didn't have the same problems that she did. she had to try hard to feel, act and do something that came naturally to them.
- she walked like there was something big between her thighs, spat when she was angry, sneered at pink frills and giggling girls. she went to every quidditch game and had loud opinions that were usually wrong. she went for her wand every time she saw potter and black, and ignored lily's fears. she clammed up and went years without crying. snape was a boy and that's that.
- only that wasn't that. no amount of ignoring, lying and acting could change what snape knew longer than she knew anything else.
- snape would like the first time she spoke the words 'i'm a girl,' out loud to be a momentous occasion, surrounded by loved ones and her words are accepted.
- snape would like a lot of things.
- the first time snape told the truth, she had mad eye moody's wand pressed against her temple. it was very dark, she was wet with either urine or the potion she was brewing, her arm was burning, in fact her entire body was burning and bloating and she was about to die. the war was here.
- "any last words, scum?"
- snape murmured something shameful like "please don't kill me."
- "speak up, boy."
- "i'm a girl." it slipped out before she knew, though she didn't feel regret. at least she said it out loud to someone before she died.
- "aren't you severus snape?"
- snape shook her head. she wasn't severus but she wasn't mary either. maybe rose. rose snape. roseline snape. that ... was good.
- "i see," said mad eye moody. "we made a mistake."
- when the aurors left, roseline stood before a mirror. she looked half like herself and half like crabbe. the polyjuice potion she had brewed and barely drank from was caked on her clothes and her skin. she was already transforming back. the mark on her arm was flaring. she packed quickly and apparated to the dark lord.
- roseline snape defected months later. it was hard and lonely. she could no longer remember the lily of her childhood among other things but that one hurt the most. now all she saw when she closed her eyes was a corpse.
- one day it was no longer just a nightmare. lily potter was dead but her son lived. her son with a man roseline hated almost more than she could bear.
- teaching was awful. roseline knew how to be mean but not authoritative. it took a long time and a lot of calming draughts but she could command a class with just a word. by then the students used snape exclusively. it took a while for the staff to do the same.
- the closer roseline got to some of them, the more they used her deadname instead.
- once she researched a way to make the name unusable like the dark lord did. she didn't have the courage to carry it out while dumbledore was still suspicious of her.
- a few house cup wins later, roseline was bold (and drunk) enough to loudly announce that her name was roseline and she would not tolerate anyone calling her severus. the reaction was mixed.
- roseline had to take a calming draught before entering the staff's lounge the next day. since she was out, she decided to go the whole way. anytime someone used severus, she would pointedly not respond.
- after a period of time, the other professors adjusted except the defense teachers. people began to jokingly blame her for whatever happened to them each year.
- after the fifth house cup win, roseline began dating for the first time in her life.
- you'd think being an adult would make it easier but she didn't know what she was doing. she didn't know what to say or how to react. she was shit at telling if someone was interested her.
- two boyfriends and a girlfriend later, roseline knew something about flirting and how to tell if you're being cheated on.
- charity burbage made her understand love in a way that was different from what roseline felt for lily.
- different and wonderful.
- a few times, on the good days, roseline looks back and wonders why she ever worried.
