Might be unpopular but one of these days we have to talk about how grace is just as flawed and nuanced as stratt but stratt gets more hate for it

Half the point of the book is his character development and finding somebody to be brave for because he WAS a coward. Not is, but was. Grace wasn’t willing to die to save earth, but Stratt was completely willing to do anything to save earth, even if that meant sending somebody to die. He is just as flawed as she is.

the whole point is he THEN sacrifices himself to save Erid, but Stratt gets way too much hate for what she did considering Grace was willing to let 8 billion people die and Stratt was only sending one.

to clarify this is NOT grace hate, i love him, i just find it to be a bit of a double standard.
